  1. I think things are going to get heated as the playoffs go on. The refs are really letting a lot go. Feels like they are walking an emotional tightrope.
  2. Really good guy who has made a major impact in the N. Ky. river cities.
  3. Fouled at 11 seconds. Did not foul the next two times the 76ers touched the ball. Again, mistake by the players because the coach wanted them to foul.
  4. You like living in the past and I disagree with you most of the time on that, but I am with you 100% on the striped warmups.
  5. If we include conference tournaments, Pope has performed better. But you are right about the NCAA tournament.
  6. Fixed it for you. Feel free to post in any school's thread.
  7. We are only talking about the past 3-6 years. I agree a tall order to expect anyone to equal what Cal accomplished in his entire tenure at UK.
  8. But it is close to being better than Cal over the past 6 seasons, and that is the question at hand in this discussion.
  9. I would be interested in seeing the foul or don't foul stats for the NBA with timeouts allowing teams to advance the ball to half court and other factors. My guess is foul with 4 seconds or less up by 3, versus 8 seconds in college.
  10. Not enough talent. I think with better talent at UK, he will deliver. And the bar set by Cal over the past 6 years is not that difficult to exceed. For what it's worth, Pope won 68% of his regular season games and was 7-8 in post season games at BYU.
  11. Excellent performance stats posted by his teams and assuming he is getting better talent at UK.
  12. And that is why Pope will beat those numbers. Five stud freshmen will not win postseason games in this NIL/transfer portal era. Multiple teams are building experienced all star rosters today. Cal wasn't. He was still relying too much on freshmen.
  13. YES! He will be close on the regular season and definitely better in the postseason.
  14. I give all the credit to the 76ers on that win. The Knicks didn't lose that game. Philly won it by making big plays at the end.
