Better double check that. I believe that is similar to what happened to Rodney Haddix at Scott Co. Transferred to Lex Cath. Came back to Scott Co. Repeated a year. Ruled ineligible as a senior. I could be wrong but I think that was the case. Ruled ineligible because he did not actually "fail" the grade. Kid missed his senior year....

Just saw on Twitter where Lindsey Wilson Track and Field has signed Robinson from Henry Clay, Saunders from Fort Knox,Sparrow from Mercer, and Nikki Coffey from Boyle. All of these runners are either a state champion or state runner up. Plus they have Dante Johnson last year's MrTrack... they are going to be major contenders in the future. State champion sprinters and state runner up 800 runners and distance runners. Anyone else signed in track and field?

On the debate of Bell vs Taylor And Tyler vs Conway The only one I want on my team is Tyler. Give me Hager over the other 3.....they will make the better college players. The other 3 have some things to work on and it's not their skill level. -

Talked with Boyle admin after game. It was actually them that made the fan leave not the Mercer admin. Check twitter Boyle kids tweeting about their admin not having their back. -
Henry Clay Picks Up Transfer From Scott County

He was teammates with Green and Grundy in AAU when in elementary school and middle school with the Warriors... -
Mercer will be young and inexperienced but will play hard. They have a lot of young talent coming up. Freshman class gained valuable experience this summer due to baseball playing in the state finals.

Madrick Resigns as Holmes Athletic Director
Jessie replied to 3BREDS2B's topic in KY Football (High School)
Ron Madrick was the heart and soul of Holmes athletics....big shoes to fill. BEST AD in the STATE!!!! He will be missed. Best replacement would be Ken Dearborn....hope Holmes makes the best decision for the kids.... -
Long will be starting qb and backed up by freshman Austin Sparrow who will probably qb JV team. Long is looking good learning the new offense and has a great arm. Guay not taking any snaps and is starting safety. With Rains platooning philosphy players only play 1 way. Could be a good year for the Titans. Hopefully getting some wins and getting the program back on track.

Bring Coach Kidwell out of retirement!!!! -
You do not have to be a minority coach to be successful at Holmes. Look at John Vandermeer. His top staff was Mike Farley, Ken Dearborn, and Casey Sparrow. Look at David Henley and the Sparrows that ran the girls basketball program. THe kids just have to believe in you like they did those coaches. They went above an beyond for many of their players. You need a coach the kids can believe in! MADRICK WILL MAKE A TOP HIRE YOU CAN COUNT ON IT!!!! BEST AD IN THE STATE!

Yes he has and so has Honchel as well both going to Miami of Ohio Cinnamon is a pitcher that has a nasty fastball....I believe Mercer has another player that has signed Div 1 or maybe 2 as well....Im not sure what division LMU is but that have 3 top baseball players that play basketball.... -
Mercer should be 1 or 2 ..Have heard they hit preseason conditioning and weight room hard. Britt has told them they will remain in the weight room throughout season which is something they have not done in the past. Also from what ive heard the team has totally bought into Britt and his sysytem and really excited about playing. They have a couple that have already committed to Division 1 schools for baseball and so that stress is off of them and they can focus on their senior season. With a solid middle school program and solid summer program that Britt put in place this summer good things could be happening for the Titans this year and for future years...

Isn't there a KHSAA rule that says they can not play JV? I just thought there was....
