East Carter defeats Rowan Co. 7-5 in the 16th semifinal and will take on Boyd Co. in the 16th Region Championship tomorrow evening at 6:00pm. The Raiders have given the Lions one of their 3 losses on the season. It should be a great final.

East Carter is leading Rowan Co. 7-5 through 6 innings.

Boyd County defeated Raceland 6-3 in the first semifinal game of the 16th region tournament and will play the winner of the Rowan Co. and East Carter game that should start around 8:30 in the final tomorrow.

Tomorrow’s semi-finals are between Boyd Co. and Raceland and Rowan Co. vs. East Carter.

East Carter defeats Ashland 10-2 in the final quarter-final game of the day.

Rowan Co. came from behind to defeat Greenup Co. 10-8.

In the 2nd game of the day in the 16th region tournament Raceland defeated West Carter 11-1 in 6 innings.

Boyd Co. defeated Fleming Co. 11-2 in the opening game of the 16th region this morning at Russell.

Late April and all of May has been a month+ to forget for Reds fans! The Reds are tied with the Angels for the 4th worst record in baseball.

Agree with that, guy we got off the couch hitting cleanup, I think I played softball against him in Lexington!!!! LOL!! Bell just aggravates me because he pulls so many boneheaded moves, just like today, Maile batting, runners on 1st and 2nd, nobody out, 2-2 count, Maile swings and misses, ball rolls into out of play area, umpire calls it a foul ball, GoofBell goes out and ARGUES, guess he wanted Maile to be out, just stay in the dugout and quit showing everybody how silly you are!!

Ford hitting .158 so Bell bats him cleanup!! Just unreal!!! 2-1 count with the bases loaded and Elly takes a fastball down the middle belt high, talented BUT a lot to learn about the game
