I haven't been watching the draft. I just now went and looked at who picked who in round 2 and what a surprise. Jenkins was the 6th DT taken in round 2? There were some reaches ahead of the Bengals for sure. The shocker was Sweat getting picked this early. After the DWI on top of his other character issues, I thought he was round 4 at best. The Bengals have to be happy that Jenkins was still available after all those DT's got picked ahead of them.
And what are the Falcons doing? It is like they are evaluating players different than everyone else in the NFL.
These size of these top rated DT's is interesting. Many of them, more than half, are under 305 pounds, which feels light in today's NFL. Jenkins listed at 299 is one of the bigger DT's in the top of the draft.
