I actually think Survivor is over the top on the DEI stuff. This season had 11 DEI of the 18 cast members. They almost always have 3, 4 maybe 5 LGBTQ cast members - way more than what fits the demographics. The most under-represented demographic in their casts is heterosexual, white male. If they went by demographics, there would always be more heterosexual white males in the cast than LGBTQ cast members but that is not the case. But they are trying to make a show and not match demographics so I get it. And I think that is along the lines of your point too.

And there is the rain delay. Getting ahead of the downpour that is coming.

It is now an official game. And I just heard thunder.

Reds hitters do their part to beat the rain - 1, 2, 3 in the bottom of the 4th.

Might start getting some sprinkles in 30 minutes. Reds need to get through the top of the 5th with this lead. Headed to the bottom of the 4th now.

Reds now lead 4-0 scoring 4 runs with 2 out. Bases loaded single by India and then a bloop single by Martinez on a full count after India had stolen 2B on a delayed steal the previous pitch. They have about 1 hour before the rain delay will happen.

Strategic move. Started left hander Suter then brought in the true starter right hander Nick Martinez. No score in the third. Reds threatening ... like the clouds above.

Has anyone come forward to say the dragging took place? Surely the officer was yelling if he was being dragged and trying to stop the vehicle? No other officers or other witnesses? That doesn't seem possible. If he was dragged someone had to see it or hear a yell.

Great come from behind win for my Celtics last night. They just kept grinding and making plays. Defense and toughness. Big road win as the Pacers had won 11 home games in a row. I believe they said last night no team has come back from down 0-3 to win a conference finals series. People keep making the comment that the Celtics are getting some luck with their playoff opponents losing key players to injury. But they don't talk about the Celtics being without their #3 Porzingis the entire playoffs.

A couple takeaways and comments on this season: Pre-merge this season was bad. It just wasn't clicking. But I could see strong players and said when we get to the merge, it will get good - and I think it did. Idols - Anyone who goes home with an idol is dumb. If you know you are getting any votes at all, play the idol then go looking again. Don't tell anyone you have an idol until you are are going to play it - then leverage it. If you tell anyone - ANYONE - before you plan to use it, then you forced yourself to use it because you just put a target on yourself. Immunity Challenge Help - Probst made a big mistake letting Liz help Kenzie at the immunity challenge - or did he? I am not a conspiracy guy but that was so egregious, it makes me wonder if they were ok letting Liz help. If Maria wins that challenge, it is probably the least dramatic final tribal in Survivor history. No way anyone could get a vote except Maria. It was over if Maria won that challenge. Even if she lost the next one and had to make fire, no one would have beaten her in the fire challenge. So did Probst let Liz help Kenzie on purpose? He has stopped people from helping someone else in a challenge in the past. Verbal help is ok but not physical help. Why did he let it happen this time?

Not disagreeing but who would you have played there instead of Gobert? Who would Dallas have put in the pick and roll if Gobert was on the bench?

Agree. The current system is a complete mess. Just get me to the season, tell me who is playing for the teams I like and then I will root for them. Everything in between the seasons is rubbish.

Also winning their event was Oliver Unger in the high jump. On the girls side, Beechwood girls took first in almost half the events but fell just short another regional title, finishing second. Top performers for Beechwood girls were Maryah Counts (3 individual first place), Caroline Nordman (3 individual seconds behind Counts in all 3), and Lily Parke (2 individual firsts). Good luck at state to both teams! Go Tigers!!
