The officiating did not cost Holmes the game. Three times they had the ball at the end of the first, second and third quarters and held it until less than 6 seconds to go before trying to score. That's not going to work, I don't care who the referees are. The one that was called by their last name is not a CCHS grad. Holmes certainly had plenty of free throws to put the game away when nearly all the calls were going their way. It was a great win for the Camels. The Bulldogs don't lose too many in Covington. If a team is hitting from the outside the way the Camels were, why did Holmes play zone for so much of the game. McGovney was big time in the first half and Losey got hot at the end. Josh Graff played a good game as well for the Camels.
