10 Good
  1. John Hardin is a good team no matter the offense, but they have great speed, imagine puting those players in more space (like the spread) and see what would happen. We can not say they would be more or less productive, because we will never know. The wing-T was a great offense but now it is just a good offense, but more teams are learning to stop it. The spread is big now, but look at the past some one will figure out the spread and people will start stopping it at a better rate. If you can play man to man with no safety and be able to cover recievers and bring extra guy in the box to stop the Qb from running, then the spread is stopped, but most teams do not have that kind of speed or talent.
  2. Are they re-opening the job or just re-interviewing the coaches?
  3. He has been at Waggener through thick and thin, and will work hard to get them going in the right direction.
  4. Don't see them beating Male or Fern creek to win the district but on the other hand do think they will be a team to watch.
  5. Central has Tim Patterson, Mister Cobble, and Ridge Wilson on defense, who are all d-1 players. On Offense the may may only open 5 holes but that equals 35 points for central. That is the difference for this team, other teams get nice gains, but Central scores TDs on plays that are normally nice gains.
  6. I think Duece gets the award, but Green from Male should be on this list, now he is heathly look at what his doing in the playoffs, but I undertand this is an overall award.
  7. Bullitt East is strong on the line on both sides of the ball and has great LBs, and hard nose runners. They kids are smart and understand the game. The weak link in BE is their DBs, they normally do not have a strong pass coverage and this is the case this year. If Calloway has tall or fast WRs, this can cause problems for BE, esspecially in play action passing. I believe we will see BE in Papa Johns though.
  8. Frankfort is always good, is this a hot bed of speed? I have never saw them play but everyone tells me they have tons of speed.
  9. Let me guess, the VVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRR, and probably a 3-4 defense.
  10. Really East thought they had Brohm and it did not work out, so they took Preston. Word is they had lots of interest in other coaches, then they thought they had Brohm, and so other coaches pulled their name out, and they were left with the apps. they had left and made their choice from there. To be honest I think Preston will do a good job, but I dont think he would have got it if Brohm never would have got in the picture.
  11. Tall Trees, I understand the budget, but if you dont think Male, Manual, X, Trinity, Bowling Green, Bell, or any other top schools would not hire based on coaching ability your are crazy, football brings tons of money to the school if you have a top program. If Redman left Male today, do you think Male would say well we have to look for a coach that teaches Social Studies because that is the spot we have open, yeah right!
  12. Sure I was, Central had 5 turnovers in a championship game, you dont have five turnovers and win by ten points, also when Central threw they just threw it up, the could have thrown a hitch all night and watched the reciever brake a tackle and run to the end zone, because Belfy played 10 yds off at the corners because of there speed. :thumb:
  13. Wow a suppose to be a top program, chooses a coach for football based on teaching openings, that is a first for a top program. Most schools make a spot for their coach they want.
  14. It will always be their's to lose, with that kind of talent there is no match for them. State championship, they should have won by 20 to 30 points, all they had to do was give the ball to Taylor and watch him run.
  15. There are schools in Louisville that do a spring game, that is why I thought they had a scrimmage between say the blue and white. Seems like the kids like it.
