Lafayette will be just fine. Harmon has roots at tates creek and it is indeed close to his house. Watch for some key seniors to return to the team who sat out last year, and with luck the new hire will come from within. I'll be pulling for Harmon in every game except when he plays Lafayette. Watch for Lafayette/Tates Creek to be a big game this year.

You need a coach who knows how to use a kicker and a kicker who plays soccer on a team that can keep the score close with defense. Simple formula, tough to find the ingredients. Watch lafayette this year, their kicker will win several games.

Lafayette/Franklin County Predictions

Lafayette in a close one, 13-7 -
I really dont know why Fayette county teams are the ones viewed as being afraid or being cowards. Correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe that Fayette County schools have been every bit as cooperative to schedule a game as LexCath. has. Just because Scheduling conflicts are in the way that is certainly no excuse to blame the entire thing on Fayette County schools.

Has any one heard of any team around kentucky that has scheduled Hoover (A.L.) to play next season? There is rumour of Lafayette playing them in September but I don't know how concrete that is yet. By the way I think that its a great idea. :thumb:

Minniefield goes both ways and alternates at corner and safety Boyd is the only other person i can think of that goes both ways and he is at corner on defense If im not mistaken one of their d-lineman also starts at reciever??? -

Being as i played on the team that beat henry clay i can say that they are a very talented team and deserve more respect than some of the posters. I do agree that they have the best recieving core in the state and they have the speed that can put alot of points on the board in a very short amount of time. Boyd has great size and speed but Phillipi tends to look for Jeter or Minniefield before checking down to boyd. They are especially vunerable on punt returns and onsides kicks(which Lafayette recovered on the first play of the game) and on an emotional senior night, the HC crowd was a non-factor. Things to watch out for Phillipi is a great runner and can tuck and run for many yards so the rocks IMO should keep a qb spy, maybe a middle linebacker to keep HC from breaking big runs. -The best team i have seen yet in the open field SPEED to kill -Can be taken out of the game mentally when behind. When faced with adversity HC is very turnover prone This will be the first time i get to see the rocks play and im looking foward to watching them and their fabled crowd that i hear so much about. My prediction is... T-38 HC-27 Good Luck to Both Teams! -

Woodford County vs. Lafayette

Lafayettes field is questionable as of right now. The kids practiced on the front lawn of the school in order to take precautions of the field. But as of now the game is at Lafayette. -
Scott County VS Henry Clay Predictions

Scott County in the not-so-big upset 31-28. Either way its bound to be a great game, a shame it one of these teams has to be eliminated in the first round.
