You know it is kind of sad when a person that says he attended JCHS can get on here and say that a kid should be replaced because he had a bad game. Where were you when the quarterback that you mentioned had ball after ball dropped in previous games. You were not criticizing them. These are high school students that are going to make mistakes. If indeed you are a JCHS graduate support the entire team not just certain ones. I know you are just stating your opinion so I will do the same. I think that throwing for over 700 yards and having over a 50 per cent completion rate after 5 games is pretty good. I usually just read these posts but I am tired of people pointing fingers at certain people. This is a team sport. JC keep your head up. BTW congrats Woodford! very classy group of young men and coaches.

Magoffin County has a bright future. Coach McCoy is not only one of the finest men I have ever met but he is a darn good football coach as well. I believe that in the past a lot of kids would quit because they didn't see any point of working their butt off and losing. I believe that after seeing how things went this year the kids will want to be a part of this program.

He must be having a devil of a time coming up with something to say. LOLOLOLo Sorry that was terrible. Nice avatar LOOP! -
The beautiful thing about being a football fan is you notice little things. Oneijoe, Chase was unbelievable!! Tremendous blocking by him and the entire Eagle team. Does Welch have a dozen picks now? Awesome experience at the nest tonight.

As a member of BGP for almost a year I usually just sit and read with an occasional post here and there. However, onetoya this post and every Asland person and player I saw at the game, which were quite a few, could all be described with one word "classy". I have never seen an opposing team's sideline be so full of energy and belief. At Johnson Central we are so excited and proud of Coach Matney, his staff, and players. After last night I saw a bunch of people from Ashland that should have the same feelings for Coach Hart, his staff, and their players. As I was driving home I was chanting "I Believe" because I heard it the whole night. I hope that |JC and Ashland have several more games that is as competitive and spirited as this one. Congratulations Ashland on a great season and a terrific game against the Eagles. JC you have changed the way of life in the county this year. We believe in all of you.

Wow! One of the biggest games of the year. Good luck Eagles. Unfortunately I will be working. So Eagle fans be careful and make sure you hoot and holler a little extra for old Lakeview. I would love a stromboli sandwich! lol -
Toothpick you are right on the money my friend. Yes Coach Matney is great and he's doing a phenomenal job, but our old buddy Eddie Blair definitely deserves some credit in helping get these young men ready to play over at the big house.

For the last ten years I have seen and heard many characters talk about Johnson Central athletics. The thing that bothers me is that a lot of eagle supporters usually talk about how they would do things different and how if we lose at anything the coach should be replaced. I have watched parents and other supporters make a mockery of themselves and the program but people just kind of shrug it off. Then I see people like xyience act excited about the program then he is looked at as a negative influence to the program. This is a discussion board I thought. Any people that read these posts should not let any comments affect any thoughts about the program they already had. I love to hear the exhuberance of the positive posters like xyience and others. Like all other posts on these discussions this is merely my opinion. In no way am I trying to be negative towards anyone but people should say what they want and not have to worry if they offended anyone especially if they are just saying what is in their heart for the program.

tick...tick...Hurry up clock and get to Friday!! I can't wait. Ashland will be ready and JC will be ready. I hope the festivities do not interfere with their mission. I'm going to say JC 28 Ashland 20 in a war. Xyience be ready for possible duties! Good luck Eagles.
