  1. Glad to make you laugh! We all need a laugh every now and then!!!
  2. Just an observation, that according to other replies submitted in this thread, is the same observed by many. The stats tell it all!
  3. It was Jordan's night because he was given the ball twice as much as the other backs. Last year, that was not a problem at all. Ford and Jackson (the 2 backs) had about the same amount of carries each game. Griffith and McCloud are just as good and should be given the chance to show what they can do. They can't do that if one back is given the ball 32 times and they are only given it 15 or less. If the fans see what is going on, a coach should be able to see that. If this team is going to be successful in the long run - ALL of the backs are going to have to do the job - not just the one selected for a specific night.
  4. Lincoln Co. 28 Mercer Co. 14 Should be a good game, but I think Mercer will fold in this one.
  5. I'm with you on this one. Not much to report - other than another one in the win column for the Titans. (Now 16-0). IMO - MVP of the game should have gone to running back Jordan Yeast - he scored 2 touchdowns and led the team in rushing. Had a great all-around game when he was on the field. I will say one thing - the leaders on the team are definitely the Junior players. Give this team this year to gain much needed football experience and they should be a force to reckon with next year.
  6. With Jaggers as the head coach and superb football knowledge: Mercer 21, Russell Co 13.
  7. Not much to report from the Mercer County side. There is not a leader on the offensive side of the ball. Quarterback can't run the option (or chooses not too) - he never looks to give it up to the back - he just keeps the ball and runs backwards all the time. I sure hope Jaggers knows to go back to the bone on offense, because what they were running the other night is not going to work. On the defensive side -the secondary needs a lot of work. I don't think anyone in the secondary was over 5'6". Very short players and no speed. Buster, Horn, and Reed were decent at end and linebackers. I sure hope things change before this coming Saturday when they play Russell County. As for Danville, Macon is the real deal. I hope he keeps his head in the game this year- he can be a "real deal" player.
