There is a regular-season title and a playoff district championship. In reality, Team B can come back and beat Team A for the district title.

From my view, that's a big part of it.

They run one offense in middle school, then to get high school and have to learn an entirely new offense. That, IMHO, puts them back a bit.

Trailing 21-14, Meade stopped Nelson on fourth-and-goal from the 8. Scored in five plays, and that was pretty much it in this game.

It was a pretty fun game to watch until that point. Nelson couldn't stop Meade on the ground, Meade couldn't stop Nelson through the air. Turning point was that fourth-down stop and then getting Nelson to punt -- for the first time, mind you -- on its next drive.

Dylan Beasley finished 17 of 35 for 294 yards and three scores -- all to Trey White, who had 222 yards on eight catches.

Meade rushed for 527 yards, finished with 632 overall.

Uh ... Mr. Running back? You might want to take this now.
