  1. Just getting a feel on whos got what this season. Seems like CovCath is always on this thread. I'd put the Panthers of Ludlow on there but they must prove the line can keep Rouse off his back this year which they didn't last year. if ypou feel your team will be among the offensive leaders heres your chance to brag...

  2. It looks like the Panthers defense should be stellar this season. After seeing the practice I did the other day I have confidence in atleast a 7-3 season. Jake Helmer and the MASSIVE D-line (for Ludlow) will most definately stop the run, and when teams resort to the pass they'd be best to not throw it toward Lundsord. If Jarrett Rouse can get his Panthers to score 2 offensive touchdowns a game they WILL be successful. I see the Panthers defense giving up one a game. Also they are very hardhitting on D and will force fumbles as well as the aggressiveness at DB and blitzing ability will most definatley cause interceptions. I see this defense averaging atleast one defensive score a game. The Panthers look to be an offensive coordinators worst nightmare this year. They also appear to have a couple of games circled. When Ludlow ran a disaster of a play the coached screamed out, "with plays like that Dayton and Bellevue will beat you!" The Panthers are reaady to go! Watch out Devils and Tigers.

  3. Your entitled to your own opinion. But if you are a panther fan? Dont criticize. just be glad he made the decision to play. If you think of the amount of kids that use to play all three sports just as Rouse does now. How many of them still do??? Just think about it. Does that make all of them quitters as well?

Look I've watched Jarrett play since he was knee high to a grasshopper. He's flat out amazing in every aspect of the sports. He has a great 12-6 downer while on the mound, he handles the ball and shoots lights out on the hardwood, and on the football field he is no slouch either. He has the ability for accuracy on his touch and bullet passes as well. On any given play he can break one with his agility and speed. Long story short he is a great great player. Im just questioning the ability to be the one guy your team relies on while debating whether being there is the best decision.

  4. This thread is to get names out there of assistant coaches that you believe could one day be a successful head coach. One I feel would be great as a head coach but probably will never take the route because he seems content coaching O-line for Randy Borchers is Mark Childress. Coach Childress flat knows the game of football! He loves it and often comments on the fact that he'd give anything to play just one more game. He makes his kids play hard, has the ability in practices to keep it loose and fun but also will get quite voicetrous when needed. He is one of the few that coach to simply give back to the game what it gave to him. Like I stated before I don't see him ever leaving Ludlow but if he did a team would be very fortunate.

What coaches do you have to discuss?

  5. I dont mean to get off the bermuda track but isn't it a shame Ludlow doesnt get to match up with the Tigers on the fresh sod this year? Thats one of my favorites to watch of the river town schools its a great rivalry! Whats Bellevue got for the game this year is either team gonna run away with it?

  6. Yea I know that game was ugly but can ludlow really match up well with the big dogs in the region

Hard to tell Im not sure what most of the region has returning. I can say for sure though that Ludlow beat Bellevue every other time they played them last year.

  7. Don't forget Jarrett Rouse QB/DB. As Jarrett goes so does Ludlow. So much of Ludlow's game plan is centered around his passing and running ability.

From what I here Rouse had strong thoughts of leaving the team early summer. That CANNOT be the one person you team revolves around.

  8. Yes he has done a very good job at Ludlow but how can you possibly say that they are the favorite... way to much firepower with HHS, NDA, NCC, Conner, and Boone(even with a loss)... I do not even believe that you can say that they will be the favorite in the all A...

With that said i remember watching ludlow play bellevue last year and they were massively undersized do they have anybody in the middle this year

    That Ludlow/Bellevue game was ugly!

  9. Who will be your teams top 3 players? Not so much your big name player, just the top 3 your team couldn't do without. I love going and watching these players. I recently saw a Ludlow practice and would say the 3 there are LB Jake Helmer, DB, WR, KR Buddy Lundsford, and center Alex Woods. Jake and Buddy should both be big names in the papers. I see Jake easily leading NKY in tackles. Buddy will be in the top 5 in recieving easily. Alex woods you will probably never hear of. He is a 270+lb. kid down on the line. He didn't see much playing time the first 2 years but now in his Senior season will start. He will keep his line tight knit and no nonsense in the huddle and truly looks to be a keader this year.

  10. He doesn't get much recognition coaching at his small alma matter but has completely turned around the Ludlow Lady Panthers program. He has summer camps and spends a ton of time at Ludlows Elem and Middle school games. Here he sees his future. I'm sure not everyone will agree but you can't argue the 2 Conference banners he has hanging in the gym. How do you feel about coach Stamm?
