I'll give you guys props. The Breathitt vs. Estill game was a hard nose battle. The backs Estill have run with their heads down and are very hard to tackle. I hope the game with Estill and Harlan Central is a good one and I think it will be.:fight:

Tates Creek 7 on 7 is scheduled for next Friday June 20th.

My son had surgery in January to repair torn labrum muscle and to repair a torn ligament that caused his shoulder to go out of socket a great deal. Rather than do an arthroscopic surgery, it was an open surgery. He was in pain for about a week, began physical therapy about 6 weeks later and should be fully released in April. The surgeons at Lexington Clinic sports medicine are amazing. Hope you son recovers soon.

In 1984 Breathitt went to Knott Co. It had rained all week and came down hard during the game. Breathitt was down 14-0 at half time. We came out in the second half won 28-14. After the game, me and another player started running out of the end zone and dove into the mud. It seemed like we slid for 40 yards. After we did it Coach Holcomb took off running and did the same thing. But it was still raining so hard that by the time we walked from the field to the locker room the rain had washed the mud off. I know it wasn't a playoff game but it our mud bowl.

Breathitt was missing four starters but still looked good. DE Scott Bailey and LB Chris Jackson were just about unstopable on defense. QB Fugate looked good. Not having two of his starting receivers hurt. Fugate's passes were on the mark but had a few dropped passes. The defense was scored on only once. Not bad for atleast 80 plays.:thumb: :ylsuper:

Why has Ben Allex desided not to play this year? I thought he had good year last year.
