  1. Somerset beat Mercer the past two years because they were the best team that day. Just like Mercer was twice this year! It had nothing to do with turns or umpires or even portable pots.
  2. Get over it Jumpermom Mercer had the better team
  3. Claunch got the loss not Robertson
  4. I don't understand why Mercer shouldn't be proud of this win. According to the official stats in the paper Mercer out hit, out pitched and committed less errors than the Briar Jumpers. As in any baseball game their were questionable calls made against each team. As for the bat throwing incident the umpire called it just right and I'm sure umpires from all the other regions would agree. Congratulations to the Somerset seniors and the rest of the team for a great season. Congratulations to Mercer for another victory and yes you should be proud of your win!!!
  5. I've seen all teams in the 12th region play this year and based on the nights I saw them play here is my top ten. 1. Watts McCreary Central 2. Keeton Lincoln 3. Robertson Mercer 4. Bourne Somerset 5. Aumiller Boyle 6. Young Lincoln 7. Dunnigan Wayne 8. Gregory Wayne 9. Jones Southwestern 10. Cannon Casey
  6. We all love baseball but sometimes a student athlete has to be a student. Education in this case came first. Applause to priorities in the right place.
