Better coaching!!!! You guys are killing me!!!! Do you know anything about basketball? Look at the players that have come out of the NCC girls basketball program and are playing college ball. Over the last 10 years I would put their program up against any challanger. Keep in mind they don't have the numbers a program like Boone and ND have. No other coach in NCC's history has done as much as Coach McDonald has. Just curious, what would make you and steelers happy? My guess is nothing.....

Hornets? Where are most of these kids from? Do they have any players to pay attention to in the coming years? Omega. I watched this team last year. They seemed to be coached well and had some success.

I was just wondering who are the better NKY AAU teams this year? I like to follow as much as possible so any help is appreciated. I am interested in all divisions (4th through 8th). Which teams are good enough to play Div 1 this year down state?

Steelers? Do you ever say anything possitive? You remind me of a past member called MRB who I believe was suspended. I am sure you know him, correct?

I have been reading all of these post and I must say, I feel for the coaches. They are in a no win situation this time of the year. Regardless of what they do, someone (by this a mean parents) is going to be upset. The bottom line is the coach has a job to do. They have to look out for what is best for the program (not parents). Just because a girl gets cut, does not mean she's a bad person, or does bad in school, or did not hustle. It means the coach made a decision that he/she thought was best for the program. I would hope the decision was not made for personal reasons. I am sure, these coaches dread the cutting process and many lose sleep and realize this girl/family will not think highly of the coach from here on. Until you are a coach and have been through this process, you can say how you think you would handle it, however you have no idea. IT IS NOT FUN TO TELL A HIGH SCHOOL GIRL SHE DID NOT MAKE THE TEAM. If a coach kept every girl, other parents would complain the more talanted girls are being cheated and deserve to play more and win. Its a NO WIN situation. I am sure NDA coach put in this policy because she felt it was best for the program. I am sure it was not to have a bunch of indivduals bash her on this site.

Who are some of the better younger golfers in the NKY area and which ones are playing High School golf? I was talking to someone about the 7-up tour for Juniors run by Darryl Landrum?

I have noticed there are a lot of grade school golfers on the high school teams this year. A lot more than usual. I know Boone has 2 8th graders, Dixie and Ryle both have a couple. Seems golf is being played at an earlier age. Any thoughts?

Are any local NKY teams planning to go to the nationals this year?

I have heard the Hornets finished 2nd this past weekend in Div 1 (Very impressive). I believe the Central Ky Tigers were the champs. Anyone have any more details on this? As far as the Div 2, The Ville were in the finals. I am not sure who they were playing. Wolfpack lost to The Ville earlier in the tournament.
