The coaches only interacted with the pitchers at UT-Martin. For 2 hours each day. The rest of the girls hit a wiffle ball with a stick for 6 hours. After receiving e-mails from all three coaches saying that I have seen you play and am very impressed and would like to see you come to our camp so we can work with you up close. We use this camp as a recruiting tool. The other line they give you is that 90 percent of our current players have attended our camp. What they didn't say was that they attended after they have already committed. It would have been a good camp if you are a local and 10 years old.

Winter camps are fundraisers for the schools unless your a pitcher.

The NKY Bandits held a tournament there in the summer and they had fences then.

Will they put up fences this year?

She's tough. Seen her pitch all day in tourneys several times. Coach should pitch the Marksberry girl some to rest her. She can throw strikes. She pitched a little for the 18u Bandits this fall and did a good job.

One good camp will do it.

I read somewhere if you could throw a ball 85mph , you can throw it 300 ft. I can still do it and I'm 50.

Carroll Co. had 12 girls working out today.

M. Hawkins is playing for the 16u Bandits which is the former Ohio Hawks and S Hawkins so far isn't playing anywhere yet. She did try out for the Swat last night.

Carroll will be practicing twice a week starting next week. They will be better but so will Owen and Gallatin. Carroll has basically only one pitcher which will be interesting to see how it goes scheduling 3 tournaments so far, maybe even 5. Coach Hawkins is trying to play against some better competition to have them better prepared for the Districts.

I don't see much difference than last year.

The Bandits have 5 players from Ky. and 5 from Ohio.

Britney goes to school at Western Brown Ohio.

They beat the Knockouts, Vipers, Kentucky Softball Club, Rockers twice and can't remember the other, Dani Nicholson did most of the pitching, 2 shutouts. The whole team played awesome defense and Killed the ball. Hayden Seng prolly led the team in hitting. Hr''s were hit by Nicholson, Brittney Palmer and 2 by Mackenzie Ogden.

The Bandits go 6-0 at Versailles Ky.

There were 20+ teams in 2 pools with some teams finishing undefeated. Didn't stick around to see who won.

NKY Bandits go 5-2 in Columbus Ohio in the Capitol City Showdown.

IMost of their success rides on their pitcher's arm. She misses one game and they almost get run ruled by Eminence. Without her they wouldn't win very many games. IMO
