I hope you are not saying that Willie Schlarman is not a good coach. If that is what you are saying then you dont follow high school basketball their coaches very well. Willie Schlarman is a great coach and Highlands will be a very good team the next couple years. They have a very young ball team this year and they play tough teams night in and night out. I played against Willie's Brossart teams for 4 years and they were always very talented. Don't get me wrong tho, Coack Mke Code is a great coach also.

From Silver Grove it would have to be Steve Hart. He did a great job with a program that was as far in the basement as it could possibly be when he took over. He has made the program into what it is now. His last 7 years coaching at Silver Grove he won or tied for 5 conference championships, led Silver Grove to the All "A" regional final against Brossart in 2001 (also believe that was the year that Brossart made it to the state Sweet Sixteen). He never made it to the regional tournament but he was screwed out of one in 2000 when Silver Grove lost by 1 to Campbell County in the semi-final round of the districts (also the year that Campbell made it to the state Sweet Sixteen). He also did a great job with the kids that he coached. Everyone who has ever played for him will always consider him one of thier friends for life. Steve Sigmon also did a great job when he had the boys varsity team i believe in the 70's and early 80's. We will also be talking about Tony Bacigalupo as one of the best too because he has done a great job in the 2 years that he has been the varsity head coach at Silver Grove.

There are several schools looking at Pelle. Berea i believe has already offered a scholarship. NKU has been to about 3 or 4 games already this season looking him. He will go somewhere and play college ball.

end of 3rd. Silver Grove-50 Pendleton-37 Pelle was held in check that quarter to just one point. He now has 32.

You really need to make an effort to get out and see him play. You will be amazed at his talent and how bright he is out on the basketball floor. Their remaining games are... Tonight- @ Pendleton (weather pending) Tuesday- @ Silver Grove vs Heritage Also, you will love how he gets the other players on the floor involved. You will like the style of play by Wiseman and Steve Pelle also.

Steve Pelle has to be on here somewhere. He's a great shooter and he will be the leader of the trains next season as a senior. He is also starting to catch fire right now at the right time.

Very nice game for the grove. They needed a big W like that. Now hopefully they will get on a nice roll and carry that right into the district tournament. They very good on the defensive side of the ball last night creating numerous turnovers and converting most of those into points. Corey and Steve both had great games. Corey also had a pretty nice dunk on a fast break steal.. Keep it going Trains!!

He had one of his hips replaced my senior year after the basketball season, that is doing a lot better now. He actually come up to the gym a couple weeks ago and played basketball with us. His other hip is giving him problems now tho so he will have to get that one replaced soon also.

Coach Hart doesn't help in anyway with the basketball team. It is Tony, and his coaching staff's team. Coach Hart is a great guy, and a great coach. He coached me for 6 years at Silver Grove and he is a great friend now. Tony does a great job with the kids and i have told him several times that Coach Hart couldn't have picked a better person to take over as head coach here at Silver Grove. Keep up the good work Tony!!:thumb:

What's your predictions for tonights game of Silver Grove @ Deming?

Corey and steven both played last year. I dont know if steven is going to this year or not but Corey will be playing again. He is a very talented baseball player also as was his brother (justin). He is a great center fielder. He can read the ball coming off the bat like no other. He also has a great bat at the plate and once he gets on he is going to steal 2nd and 3rd no matter how good the catcher is behind the plate.

Steven is a junior this year.

Hall needed 19 to get his 1000th point and that is exactly what he ended up having tonight. I'm not sure if he laed the polar bears in scoring or not tho.

Corey Pelle had a HUGE night as Silver Grove wins 85-65. Pelle had 26 points, 14 assists, 8 rebounds and 8 steals. He also added i think about 2 or 3 blocks to that stat also. Great all around ball player and it was proven tonight during this game. Steven Pelle also added 27 points tonight for the trains too. Also would to send my congrats to Jesse Hall of Bracken County for reaching his 1000th career point tonight. He's he good ball player also. Great win for the trains tonight!!:thumb:

I will get to see Hall for the first time friday night when they Silver Grove.

Corey Pelle is a great ball player. If you haven't seen him this year you really should try to make it out to a game before the season is over to see him play. He is a senior this year also.
