This was probally NCC's worst shooting game of the year. They shot it at just over 28% from the field

Sidney is the best player in the state.

Rebecca Greenwell is the best player in the state by far.

They didn't press at all. Only half court defense.

Wow I am surprised that they didn't.

Was it close and Ryle blow it open in the end or did Ryle coast?

NDA really has come on in the last couple weeks they will be very hard to deal with in the regional.

Wow kind of surprised by that one.

That one eye patch must be rose colored. It don't hide all of the truth just half of it. Not kicking on Ryle they have an awesome team and are capable of beating anyone however the tough schedule drum is not worth beating. If you look at the other top 10 teams they average some 6 or 8 games aganist top 20 teams. And concerning NCC06 he/she might have that other eye patch on. Beating Boone, NCC, NDA and St. Henry get you a birth in the top 10? That Ohio River water getting tainted with pharmaceuticals?

I was not saying that you earn a birth into the top 10 but that then you can start talking about being a top 10 team in the state.

Campbell County has not played any great competition this year, their schedule is very weak.

Wait till Ryle gets through NCC, Boone, Notre Dame, and St. Henry and if they win all of those games then maybe you can be talking top 10.

They are class A, however in football they play in AA with the 6 class system.

Murray without a doubt, they were not prepared for the pressure defense NCC plays but i bet you they will be ready this year.

Muench was the big x-factor for NCC she really got them going with some of her dribble drives. She did not play great in this tournament until tonight but she was great on this night. If they can get that kind of effort from her in Richmond they should be the favorite.

I was very impressed with Beal she can shoot from anywhere on the court for a high percentage, some of the 3's she made tonight were NBA 3's.

Congrats these seniors have had an unbelievable run. Keep it going!!!

NCC won by about 14.

Yes they got a basket then Dawn called a timeout and started to press. For whatever reason NCC didn't press for much of the game but when they did they were very effective. I believe that moment of the game your numbers are off a bit, the score was 35-33 and that foul would have been to go up 4 with a chance to go up 5 but instead it went the other way. It was not to go up 7 i do not believe.

In the last couple of minutes you could tell that experience was important, these seniors have won the region every year and the state title last year. As well as a coach that has been in many of those games.

I was at the game and there was no way that Ludlow should have lost this game they got very sloppy, didn't take their time, and gave the ball up time after time. Villa had pretty much gave up on the game until the back to back layups and the coach called a quick timeout. But at the end of the game Ludlow can't even get a rebound off a free throw miss and VM got an easy layup to tie the game.

Also it was a very physical game the refs really let them play.

NCC was up by 11 at the half and St. Henry come out hot and played great defense and pretty much dominated the 3rd quarter. NCC got their act together after St. Henry took the lead and made a couple layups and some free throws down the stretch. The difference in this one was the freshman Kiernan she had around 15 points and 6 blocks or so I do not know the exact numbers, but she was a force when she got her touches.

I am saying they can play with and beat Boone. They gave Ryle all they could handle in regional last year, and beat them the year before so yes they can beat Boone. As for fifth ranked team in state, there are at least ten teams better, Moss is great but there are much deeper teams out there. Note, this is just my humble opinion.

Well the Rebels are the champs until someone knocks them off. Boone is 5-1 vs BGP top 20 this year with the only loss coming to the #1 team in the state. Where as St. Henry is 0-1 vs BGP top 20, so I would have to say Boone is the better team.

You are saying they are better than the 5th ranked team in the state?

Both St. Henry and NCC were closed today so is the game going to be played tonight?
