Gonzalez runs a 4.3 forty and that is more than a possession receiver. I see him making it big in the NFL if he goes to the right team.
The reason I say possession reciever is because over half of his catches were for first downs or converting third downs.

First, you never heard me crown Tressel. He happened to receive the benefit of a blown call at the right time to win a title. His other claim to fame is beating Michigan over the years, also not impressive IMO. I didn't call for for blitzing, but you can't stop a 6 yard pass from 15 yards away. I don't think the DC gave OSU much of a chance. I picked UF to win (you could look it up). I agree UF had superior talent (read speed) but the coaching was less than stellar.
Somebody hates OSU.:sssh:

This is great news for the Cats and Andre Woodson.
-
Had they showed any sign of slowing down Florida's passing attack then Ginn might have been a factor, but Florida could have scored more points than they did.
True, the defensive strategy of the Buckeyes was to make the Florida offense have long sustained drives due to the fact that over half of their scoring plays on offense were of 40+ yards. Therefore, Ohio State played a very soft cover 2 and Chris Leak played spectacular and the Bucks clearly underestimated the speed of Florida.

A. Gonzalez, Ohio State WR has declared himself eligible for the NFL draft and will not be returning to the Buckeyes next season. I hate to hear this or about any kid going out early but I wish him well. I also expect Pittman and Ginn,Jr. to declare for the NFL draft also. I do not have a link at this time, heard it on our local evening news. (WSAZ - Hunington, W.va)
I heard the same thing about Ginn Jr. and Pittman. Losing all three of these great players really hurts the Bucks Offense for next season. Gonzo really turned out to be solid receiver after being in the shadow of Santonio Holmes and Tedd Ginn Jr. for most of his career. I think that he will be a solid possession receiver in the NFL.

Another pointless Krivsky trade. Although this players stats in Triple A aren't bad, I don't really understand what he's trying to do, we need PITCHING not average infielders, but we'll see how this summer goes.

Florida played the perfect game, no one can deny that. OSU's Big Ten schedule didn't get them ready for Florida's speed, obviously. I don't think Florida's DE got blocked the entire game, Troy Smith had no time to look down field and throw. Losing are fastest offenseive and special teams threat didn't help either. Florida was amazing and I'm in no way taking anything away from them.

Barry Bonds is a disgrace to Major League Baseball. I have always hated him and this just makes me even more sick that this man is going to get in the Hall before Pete Rose.
-
The Ohio State team that I watched all year didn't show up. Florida was the better team on Monday night but I doubt they would lose 3 or 4 games in the conference.

A bad week for OSU fans....

Nick Shannon at North Laurel is very underrated. He has played some very quality basketball this season and is leading the Jags to a surpisingly decent season.
-
Why hasn't Zach Lewis (Soph) from Clay made any lists? IMO he's a better all around player than many that's been mentioned.
I agree. I saw him play against South Laurel this year and he played very hard and solid showing poise against their big 2-3 zone. He can really shoot the mid-range jumper on the move. He's also the Quarterback of the Football team to, correct me if I'm wrong.

The Big East did win all of there ball games and congrats to all of the teams who won. However, as it has been said before, the Big East teams didn't play anybody. I know that they can't help who they play, but let's get real. The conference is better than it was last year, but still the weakest BCS conference, maybe better than the very down ACC but that's pushing it.
If UK played Temple, Cincy, Syracuse, etc. they would go to a quality bowl every year too. There is just no argument there.

Coach Conway really has his team playing alot better and his showing why he is one of the best upcoming coaches in the state. Shannon has improved so much under Conway and will only continue to get better.
I watched Knowles play last year, so I knew what to expect when I went to this game: a show. He is such a complete player and a class act kid. He was always helping the opposing players off the ground after hustle plays and showed great sportsmanship throughout the game. Clark Co. is a well coached team and good luck in the tough 10th Region.

Any win at North Laurel is a good win. That place is one of the hardest places to get a fair game than I've ever seen.
Obviously never played anywhere in the Mountains then, let alone North Laurel.
-
I went with the Jets, but the Saints and Titans both huge surprises.
-
I think Tressel stays at The Ohio State University much like a Bobby Bowden or Joe Peterno stay at their respective school. He seems very content at playing for national titles and being a 1st round draft pick factory.
I totally agree.

It's got to be Cincy and Carolina. Way to much talent on both teams to not make the playoffs

The Bengals need the coaching staff to re-evaluate the entire team and get rid of anyone who is causing them play so inconsistently or causing distractions in the locker room and off the field, even if that means getting rid of a Chad Johnson or whoever it may be. Most of the players in that locker room need to toughen up if we want to play at the elite level because we do have the talent it's just a few egos that are bringing Cincy down.
No way Rudi or Carson are going anywhere. That would be insane, they along with Willie are the core of what is left of this team.

Big win for first year coach Daniel Brown and the Blue Devils over a solid Simon Kenton team. Henry Clay is very dangerous with their athletic ability.

Give me a break, you know what I mean and yes they do keep stats for third down conversions and catches for first downs.
