What will South Laurel look like next year with coach Wright ??
South loses ALOT. Tye Proffit (Notre Dame signee), Trey Smith (Morehead St. baseball signee), and Jordan Hammonds just to name a few. These three make up SL this year, but I'm sure Wright will have something cooked up for next year.

No surprise here..
-
South Laurel has to be the favorite, but there are many dark horses in the 13th.
-
True he might be wanting to prove something more....I think he has already proven enough to most in the tri-county area. Most know Coach Wright very well. I hope he does call off the dogs and show some mercy. It would be a sad day in Cardinal land if one of the big contributors got injured in a game like this one. At the Half it is South 58 Wburg 23....a little better now.
I agree, that would be a shame if one of there big three went down. However, you reap what you sew.

North might be able to win about 4-5 games next year, but the seniors that they lost this past year could hurt the leadership on this team. However, they do have alot of talent returning as MT said. Maybe with the new alignment they can make a little more noise, but I don't see that big of a turn around coming soon.

South Laurel is up 40 to 5 at the end of the 1st quarter...Proffitt, Hammonds and Smith are still in the game and having big nights for Coach Steve Wright. I would hope this one turns into a JV game for the Cardinals SOON.
You never know with Wright, he's known to leave his starters in and punish teams sometimes. It hurt him earlier in the year when he ran up the score against North Laurel when they played Clark Co. the next day, which Ended up hurting them as they lost that game.

Surprisingly score to me...

Palmer solidified himself as the true leader of this team with these comments not just on the field, but off. IMO, this is what the Bengals needed

What a great way to start the 2007 year. Very dissapointing, Joseph has the talent to be one of the best cover corners in the league if he keeps his head on straight. Chris Henry shouldn't be to far behind...

Sorry but I'll post around here as long as I follow the rules. I don't "hate" OSU. I just think they are over-rated. It seems like that turned out to be the case in the BCS Championship Game. Tell where I'm wrong.
No one is saying your wrong, but when you started questioning the fans and telling us to "crawl back in our holes in Columbus", that's just not what anyone wants to hear. Everytime an overrated team loses I'm going to check your posts to see if you say this about every overrated team that loses or if you really do have some sort of a personal vendetta against the Bucks.
-
We OSU fans do not need to crawl back anywhere. What gives you the right to dictate what we say or believe. If what we Buckeye fans say or post bother you so much I suggest you may want to look elswhere. You have a right to post as you say or believe but I think all the people here have and expect that same right. Just because you hate the OSU program don't think we should all just bow down and give in to what you judge to be right or wrong. I have read your post on many subjects and there have been some very good ones but every time someones disagrees with you or post about a program you dislike, suddenly we as fans should all run and hide. No crawling here. I will continue to support the Buckeyes as a fan and that is the way it should be.
:thumb: Everyone got what they wanted, an OSU loss. I haven't said anything like that and I've been a good fan for a number of years. We will be back.

UK did play bad and didn't deserve to win, but Vandy shot nearly 60% from the field and Foster and Byers played like All-Americans. We are the better team, just made to many mistakes today.
-
Sure is....though there can be no speculation that OSU was highly overrated, and was CLEARLY outclassed in their second tough game of the season.
To say that they were outclassed can't be said. Jim Tressel is the classiest coach in the country and his players showed that this year. Now your making stuff up, most UofL fans think that they are the only school in the country and trash anyone else who doesn't think so.
-
^ You can throw mud if you want...Louisville didn't get blown out this past season...
Louisville didn't play near the schedule that OSU played this year either.
-
Could still be top ten, but we'll know it is a fraud.
Yeah, especially if UofL is in there with them!
-
It runs in the family..
-
We lost most of our defense last year (8 or 9 starters) and we lose our offense this year. Worked out for us ok this year with a Big Ten title and a runner up. OSU will be ok next year Chris and Maurice Wells will be back at RB and we'll see the old OSU style offense of pounding it down the field.
-
He said that Kentucky is the team that is "Under the radar" and could really cause some damage this year, and no team wants them in the first round. Is this the end of the world????
I never thought I'd see the day UK was considered under the radar. Digger is probably loving that he got to say that about UK.

Roscoe Denney at South Laurel is a great assistant coach but isn't neccessarily looking for a head coaching spot.

1. Fenway - hands down, this place reeks of baseball history
2. Wrigley - similar to ^, but not quite as nice
3. Yankee Stadium - ditto
4. Camden - My favorite of the newer parks
Mine as well!

36-33 OSU halftime.

Good win for North. Shannon added 15, while Shawn Asher scored 14 in the win. The Jags' bench might be coming around, eight different players scored in the win.
Next up: Coach Conway's alma mater ... Dixie Heights ... also got some scoop for 49th District fans ...been told that Clay County will be hosting 49th District Tournament instead of Red Bird.
That's very good news for Clay Co. and Clay Co. only.
