  1. :thumb: You are correct about Pryor at qb. One thing that I am concerned with him in this one though is that he seems to be too indecisive on the passing (picking out recievers, to throw or not). Experience is what he needs and the only way to get that is playing. I do think at some point and time this season the Buckeyes are going to need Boeckman at qb...(passing, senior leadership,etc.). Pryor is defnately the better athlete of the two and needs to be in there starting.

As for Wells, nothing else need be said.....he is an absolute load to tackle and a combination of speed and power. Beanie is definately one of the best RB in the country along with Moreno at UGA and a couple of others.

I personally think that putting Boeckman in the game at any point other than an injury to Pryor would be insane. Not only would it disrupt the offensive flow, but Boeckman doesn't make plays andrettains our offense from opening up. Pryor makes plays and we need to stick with him no matter what.

  2. North Laurel's program may be in shambles, but right now in the season is not the time to be bashing your own coach. I hate when people do this, people who are real North Laurel fans would support the kids and hope for the best learning enviroment for them. These discussions are for after the season, but real fans would already understand that.

In no way did I bash the coach, I simply stated the facts of what has happened over the last few years. If you can't see what has been going at NL for years now is a problem then I really don't know what to tell you.

I hope this team turns it around, but the fact is Abbott hasn't gave us any reason to beleive that the tream will turn it around or that he'll be back next season. That's the bottom line.

  3. Pryor looked good and it's about time Tressel opened up the play book and let him make some plays. Boeckman isn't going to win us games or lose us games, which is one reason why we can't compete with the elite in the country. I've never been a big fan of Boeckman, good to see Pryor start a new and promising era in Columbus.

Give the Big Ten a few years, we will be back.

  4. The Bengals looked terrible vs. Baltimore. They looked better vs. Tennessee, especially in the first half. And, they looked like a good football team against the Giants. The Bengals are nowhere near as bad as KC and St. Louis and they're better than a few other teams...unfortunately, they've dug themselves a hole that they probably can't get out of considering how tough their schedule is. They couldn't afford not to win one of the first three...having to play the two toughest divisions in the NFL (NFC East, AFC South) leaves little room for error. If they'd shown up in Week One and sealed the deal last week, Cincy could be 2-1 and tied for the division lead. It just shows the thin line that sometimes separates playoff teams from bottom feeders...good teams know how to win games.

Look at the Bears and Chargers...both of those teams could, and some would argue should, be 3-0. Instead, they're 1-2.

    Very good points here.

  5. The Reds are 9-5 in September and are 16-11 in their last 27 games....and 18-14 in their last 32 games.

Prior to this September, the Reds have had seven consecutive September's without a winning record.

    2007 10-17

    2006 13-14

    2005 11-17

    2004 13-15

    2003 10-16

    2002 12-15

    2001 11-11

    Total: 79-105 .429

    Last winning September

    2000 (18-10)

I'm glad that you took all the time to look these up, I hope it makes you feel better. That being said, the Reds do look better and have ALOT of young talent. I'm just not reading that much into it yet to just be disappointed come May.
