I believe there was an email that went out that said November there would be a draft/breakdown of classes. Then January the district draft would come out. From there I believe schools can petition to move.

When your teams are being tested you still have to coach and play with class whether you win or lose.
I agree. I wasn’t there so I honestly cannot comment either way on this years game. As far as throwing the ball deep when you’re up big that can be a little more complex. On that one fans and coaches can get a little worked up over.
MoCo is getting ready to go through 2-3 pretty brutal games.

...but same behavior?
Maybe. I never saw anything like that with Coach Egli. I know when teams are having a rough year sometimes players and at times coaches don’t handle it well. It’s hard to know without being with a program throughout the week.

Like was stated before this is the same offense and style they used for a number of years before coming to Dixie. The offense takes a good year for it to start clicking. Even once they players truly get it it will look clunky at times. It’s just how the offense works. Kind of think of it as a coach coming in and installing the triple option. There is a larger learning curve to it.

Different coaching staff between last year and this year.

Am I looking at the stats wrong or are they way off. It shows Walton only running three plays. So either I’m not hitting the correct button or the stats are only really for NCC offense.
-
They do play guys both ways. Not a lot but there are always a few that do. Could they play more both ways? Sure but being two platoon is more likely a better return on investment.

I believe you could have a full roster but the sidelines were still extended further down that normal.
The 10 yard to 10 yard line thing was for sure and it appears will be the norm now. For a very large amount of the state having 80+ on the sideline isn’t an issue. It was just how Tackett phrased it during the rules clinic that made it appear it might of been still in effect.
-
Does anyone know if the roster restrictions were still in effect last season? Tackett made it sound as if they were in this years rules clinic because it sounded like those restrictions had been lifted for this season. If it was in effect it was something like a restriction of 80 dressed players.

Ehh. With the current Bronco QB quandary/quagmire, I'm not so sure.
Do they not have a clear cut number one?

He had to have (somehow) thought there were no good angles of the hit he took. That would be incredibly stupid seeing as the play literally finished at his feet.
This will permanently tarnish his reputation. I’d like it if no schools granted him access to the field.
Between the two teams filming (and with multiple angles) and the NFHS network film of it there had to be good footage/angles. Completely agree very stupid to think there aren’t multiple good views of what happened. On top of all of that the film would show the sideline conditions.

You might need to check around on this. Some manufacturers will void the helmet if not painted by certain groups.
-
Considering the issues with getting helmets, if there is loss, other programs helping out might be the only way to play games.

I know that for at least some districts (like mentioned above) an email is sent out to the coaches to vote. Like any other time you email coaches you might get everyone in the district to respond or you might get one. Keep that in mind when you look at the rankings.

This statute got me thinking about the Nevels transfer. Reading the new statute, does Nevels have to play for the school district he moves into?
The way I read it yes.

I only counted 6 sophomores that started for the Bearcats. Not to mention losing OL Nick Alexander and RB Tyson Beach. Hopefully the Bearcats find a way to replace them and keep rolling as they have years past.
Where did the Alexander go?

Scott Co takes all of June off. They’ve been doing it for years. After school gets out they don’t see the players until the dead period is over.

Coaches.
I guess I should of been more specific in my question. All the different coaches associations in the state be it regional or statewide have someone elected in charge. I guess a better way to of asked my question is who is the president of the NKY coaches association?

Whats the rules on kids not enrolled in a school participating in a team practice?
Can’t do it. You have to be officially enrolled to practice.
I am guessing you mean a kid that is not yet an official student of, in this case, Carroll county. It also kind of depends on what you call a practice. So a rising freshman would not be enrolled in the HS yet. They could do certain activities that some might consider practice even though it’s not really practice.
Now if you are referring to a HS student taking part in activities but who is not officially enrolled then that is pretty much a no go.

I had heard of possibly spin-offs 1-3. I was really hoping for 1. I think you’re right that it might of been too much. It will be interesting if that pilot ever leaks though it will be too short to give anyone a real feel.
Sadly I think we’ll never get that information from what that series was going to be. I just personally find the north and that part of the lore more interesting. There is from what I hear some bits and pieces in the books.
The original GoT pilot had to be reshot and I believe some roles recast. I’ve never read the books but they did a pretty amazing job casting the show.

Yes I am. Just watched the new trailer for August 21. I would of preferred them explore more about the White Walkers and that time frame. I’m still excited to see how this goes.

I agree. What would this do to Jefferson County School Choice plan where students can go out of district to magnet or better performing schools?
Since all those schools are part of the JCPS I don’t think it will affect them. Now if a kid who lives on the edge of Jefferson county (who lives in the JCPS area) decided to go to a neighboring county school because it was closer or whatever reason then that player would sit. It would basically work how it does now for districts with open enrollment within the district’s schools.

There is kind of a cascade effect that can happen. For example, if both Highlands and Cov Cath moved down then it basically forces two teams to move up. If Great Crossing and Douglas moves up to 6A then two previous 6A teams would move down. So there is a degree of shuffling that happens once the top and bottom enrollment 32 happen. Then add in teams asking to play up or down due to factors.
In the end it’s the teams on the upper and lower cusp that would move. Some districts grew during Covid and some took a pretty good hit enrollment wise. Since enrollment numbers got jacked up during Covid they are using a formula to determine enrollment that is different than in the past. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a little bit larger number of requests to move classes due to districts saying the enrollment numbers aren’t accurate based on the formula.
