Surely there can be some contract. If I hire Reed Sheppard to be in an advertising campaign for my Ford Dealership, I'm going to sign him to exclusively only endores my Dealership and brand. I'm not paying him $200K to do an Ad Campaign for me and him to also advertise for a competitor at the same time. Only a contract could ensure that doesn't happen. 

I can easily see looking at that photo how there could be confusion on Scheffler's part. However with Police, Fire and EMS present, anyone directing traffic should have been obeyed.

I've seen numerous times when Fire Fighters are directing traffic around accident sites just as a Police Officer would. Scheffler should have realized with EMS and Fire present this was a different situation than he pulled up to the previous day and proceeded a little more cautiously and followed and direction give to him by those directing traffic.

I don't know what direction the officer gave him or what he understood them to be. My biggest question with the officers behavior is how did he put himself in the position to take a ride on Scheffler's car?

Hopefully the video and corresponding investigation will clear up a lot of questions.

Decent season, not the best but definitely not the worst.

Not sure Kenze deserved to win it based on Outplay, Outwit, Outlast mantra of the game...but it could have been worse if some others has won. 

It looked like Kenze got at least part of her votes based on sympathy and not game play.

Georgia quarterback Jaden Rashada has sued Florida coach Billy Napier, top Gators booster Hugh Hathcock and former football staffer Marcus Castro-Walker over a failed name, image and likeness deal that would have paid the quarterback $13.85 million, according to a lawsuit filed in federal court on Tuesday. 

In short Florida Coach and Booster promised a total of $13.85 million to get him to turn down $9.5 million from Miami. The suit claims that the coaches and boosters all misled him with no intention of upholding the deal.

First, this is just the first of these types of suits that will come out.

Second, the money being thrown around is much higher than I expected.

Possible huge news out of that part of the world today. Twitter is full of stuff about a helicopter crash in Iran.

I've not heard it mentioned, but is it possible these officers were working for Vahalla at the time. I know a lot of departments allow off duty officers to be hired as security/traffic control for special events like this. This keeps events like this from draining officers off the road, leaving less available to answer calls.

I ask this because a detective was in uniform on a Friday morning. Very very few departments have detectives in uniform instead of plain clothes. Which leads me to believe he was working off-duty overtime. 

If they were working off-duty overtime for traffic control, I could easily see why they weren't wearing body cams.

That said, I have no idea what the detective was thinking grabbing onto a moving car.

KY has one of the most effective bond systems in the country when it comes to quickly setting bonds for those arrested. Some counties have a bond officer visit jail 2 or 3 times a day setting bonds on the recently arrested, in most cases bond is available within a few hours for most anyone arrested. Of course the most egregious cases won't be given bond immediately. When bond is set a few of the determining factors are if the subject is a flight risk, an immediate danger to others or the expectation of them appearing for their next court date.

I think Scheffler got confused and made a poor decision to drive on, I think the detective over reacted and both are at fault.

UK clinched a tie for the SEC regular season title with Friday's win over Vandy. A win today or a Tennessee loss and UK will win the SEC Regular season outright!

UK is in position to host both Regional and Super Regional in the upcoming NCAA tournament.

I hate how it turns into "Survival of the weakest" every season. It doesn't bother if a physically weak but mentally strong player wins. It bothers me when mentally and physically weak players find each other in the final weeks and vote out the better players.

I like Ben, but neither he Liz or Kenzie have done anything to deserve to win.

Now Q goes to jury with an idol in his pocket! 😆 

I think they get greedy when they get an idol and try to stretch it out too far.

The attorney hired to represent him is maybe the best defense attorney in Louisville, he'll figure out the least painful way out of this.

It's been reported that he paid the hotel $50K for this video. A day after she brought a lawsuit and he claimed that she was just money hungry, he paid her several million dollars and had her sign an NDA.

Video is pretty clear and a horrible look for a man trying to claim that he is innocent of all of the claims being made about him.

Looking at current NFL broadcast deals, the NFL brings in around $13.3 Billion a year (before the Netflix deal) from TV money alone. (Just over $412 million per team)

NFL signed a 3 year deal with the streaming service to stream games on Christmas Day. Two games this year will be streamed, Texans/Ravens and Chiefs/Steelers.

Netflix will pay around $150,000,000 per game.

Ridiculous stat just now from TV coverage. Scheffler is far and away the best golfer in the world today. He's been ranked #1 50+weeks in a row. If he remains #1 every week going forward, he'd catch Tiger's record for weeks at #1...sometime in 2035!!!
