I believe that Harlan is open.

I had a call just like this one once but no arrest.
To some I think a tanning bed is an escape for 15 minutes and it can put you in a deep sleep.
Did I mention she wasn't wearing anything when we got inside the locked room? :puke:
I take it that she wasn't hot.

Its about that time of the year for the infamous Open Jobs thread.
I like this.
-
Would love to see them make it to the finals.

My sympathies to Dr. McGowan's family and Bellarmine University.

Excellent choice. This is the help I pay for.
I"m glad you took your talents to Hoosiers. I feel that this gave you the best opportunity to watch a team win and to win multiple times if you watch it on repeat. I feel like watching the Huskers will make you feel like you can compete anywhere.

The old like feature was a security risk. We are going to install a new like feature. Not sure if we are going to be able to save the old likes or not. I know it stinks but it is what it is when you have people hacking on you.
Just all the more reason we need secure systems that NO ONE can access.
Crap... I was like 10 likes away from 500. It's like getting your 500th win as a coach. I feel like I got put into retirement.

I was born in 81 and remember the benches in the end zones at Mason Co., so I'm thinking late 80s.
Glad to see the Nicholas Co. Gym listed on a few posts. I may be biased but for a very small county school it is extremely nice!!!
I agree. It is a very nice facility and I know many down in Carlisle are happy to have it!
-
30-40 years from now another school will be built and consolidation will happen.
I would hope that Bracken County would learn to take care of their present school buildings so they wouldn't have to build a new one every 40 years.

When I was in high school they hosted the girls district at Augutsa. And you though having it in Brooksville was nightmare
Was always told that it was handled well.

You must've not have listened to Matt McCane on the Augusta Broadcasting Network.

New gym is listed on KHSAA as 2000
Old gym seated 2200, but I know I saw 25-2600 in there several times. I probably have some photos of the old gym...will have to dig though. The ones in yearbooks just don't show it very well.
I agree. It was a shame they tore it down. A new bank was needed, but could've went elsewhere. A new courthouse? eh.
Got to love money that is earmarked for useless things... much like the two lane bridge to a one lane tunnel that will be built soon enough.

$15/hr....
I should get paid $15 to sit on my couch. :sssh:

Breathitt County's gym is my favorite in the state. Don't have a picture and honestly a picture wouldn't do it justice.
Saw it on WYMT. That is one high ceiling.
-
Or put another way, who is from the Maysville area and over 160?
Fixed it for you
-
BTW, this game was NOT at Riverside, it was at the Breathitt high School Coliseum, assuming Riverside was still the host.
When is the regional draw?
The last time that JC won a district (2006) , they went to the finals of the region, losing to Hazard by 7. Could be an interesting tournament.
-
Congrats Coach Belcher and the Wildcats!
-
Yep....Jordan Barnett....
Since January 19th, Jackson City has went on a 10-1 run, including two wins over Breathitt County, Buckhorn and Wolfe County. The lone loss came to Hazard, @ Hazard by 9...48-39....
Tigers may find themselves in the regional championship game...Playing extremely good ball at the right time.
What was the reasoning for the transfer?
-
Yep...
I'm happy for them!
-
Someone told me that this is their second win this season against them and third since 1934.
-
Would like to see an old picture of The Fieldhouse with the baseline benches.

Got a full pic of the gym?
-
Would like to throw Hazard's in there... I like the old floor look.

Who does the 15th need from the 16th? 16th has 16 teams with no plans anywhere for reduction or consolidation. The 15th is losing a team in total when AC and SF combine to make Floyd Central. The logical/ geographical answer to bring them back up to 16 teams would be to move a 14th region team. Knott Central, Jenkins, Cordia, June Buchanan, and LCC have a 5 team district that borders the 15th. Pick one and be done. KCC would be the most logical as they are next door to the "Floyd County" district that needs a team.
I am well aware of the Fleming Co-10th region ties but sending MoCo and/or GRC to the 16th is nuts as they are in a perfect geographic district now with Bourbon Co and Paris.
No plans now, state budget may start dictating this. :depressed:
