  1. I wasn't sure if they won the district a couple of years ago when they went to state or not. I knew it was a dandy with Boyle.
  2. Congrats! I know it was tough, but you finally jumped on the bandwagon! :sssh:
  3. Yup. A couple of layups worth five grand a piece.
  4. The Raiders of McCreary Central enter this contest coming off a huge district championship win, their first in 19 years, and dismantling 20-win East Jessamine in the first round. The Raiders just won their fifth straight. Lincoln County Patriots are coming off their third consecutive 45th district title and jumped all over 47th district runner-up, nine-win Casey County. The Patriots have now won four straight. Earlier this season, Lincoln took care of the home court and beat McCreary Central by 16 in part of McCreary's 2-4 stretch midway through the season. Who wins this game? I think McCreary and their very united and explosive play will win this game for the bigger Patriots and Spurlin. The Raiders 70-62
  5. Just $25? Hell, he should have been at Rupp last night. If he would have nailed it then, he would have won $250,000.
  6. Why wouldn't I like Lincoln? That's insane. I hope Lincoln wins and advances to play McCreary in the next round. That'll be a dandy of a game. But when a team as talented and well-coached as Lincoln is only leading by twelve (at the time) against lowly Casey County, there is room for questioning.
  7. Wayne County, the 48th district runner-up, comes off a win against Rockcastle, the 47th district winner, by 18. West Jessamine, the winner of the 46th, comes off a tough win over 45th district runner-up Danville, 68-61. The two met earlier this season in Wayne County with the Colts pulling the win out on the road 63-61. Wayne has been in a slump, but can their big win and great shooting performance from the first round carry over? I think so. Wayne County wins 68-64
  8. True. But Casey is 9-19 (soon to be 20) and I just expected more output from the Patriots. Maybe they are hiding something from others. :thumb:
  9. Can you quote as to where I said they wouldn't? Thank you.
  10. Wow. I thought Lincoln would be winning by a larger margin. If the Patriots hold on, they will have a tough time come Monday.
  11. McCreary is going to be very tough in this region.
  12. The Raiders move on to the second round of the 12th region tournament to face the winner of Casey/Lincoln. The Raiders are rolling. They are playing the best in this region.
  13. More than half the gym is McCreary. They brought five buses to the event. McCreary is leading 58-31 in the fourth.
  14. McCreary currently leads East Jessamine 36-13... The Raiders are playing very, very good.
  15. In the first round (and 3rd game) of the 12th Region Tournament, this may be the best game of this round. McCreary Central is coming off a huge district championship, their first in 19 years. McCreary's length can cause all teams problems, and their ability to shoot the three and use Roark inside can beat most teams in the 12th. Earlier this year, McCreary won at East Jessamine by twenty. New game. New environment. Who wins? Raiders 68-76
  16. Lincoln's last ten (not counting vs. McCreary) combined record 126-150 McCreary's last ten (not counting vs. Lincoln) combined record 152-125.
  17. For history's sake. Past two seasons, McCreary 2-0 in the regular season - Lincoln with title. This season, Lincoln 1-0 in the regular season - ? If both teams advance, we'll let their games make the decision. Best of luck.
  18. Two reasons why I don't agree. 1. That was less than three weeks ago, not even close to a month. 2. The EXACT same thing was said about Lincoln's loss at Garrard - worst game of the season. How many "worst games of the season" can you have?
  19. Better ball than anyone? McCreary is 7-3 with a loss to #3 J-Town, Anderson County, and the loss at Lincoln that happened twenty four days ago. McCreary is 6-1 in their last seven. I just think McCreary is playing the best ball.
  20. Do you mean this season, or this tournament? McCreary dominated the Jags in Nicholasville by twenty. I don't think anyone is looking past anything, especially McCreary. They know what is at risk, and after that Southwestern win, they just seem relaxed and composed.
  21. South vs. Corbin in the finals. A very, very good game that will be.
