Is it common practice to give the POY of each region to a senior. Just wondering if any other regions had seniors receive this award over a underclassman that was just or maybe even more deserving.

4 of the main players for Boone were there 2 years ago when they lost in the first round. Left a bad taste in their mouths because they did not have a chance to contribute, they are chomping at the bit to show what they can do this year. I think they can calm the Freshmem down and it should be a very good game.

Do not know Smith must have been before Stefanopolis Daley from Ryle and Bradley from Conner Bowling is not even playing for Boone. But like I said that is going back 8 years. Each one lives in the district no rule change is going to prevent a person from living where they choose.

Geez, I don't know where you are getting that information but it sure isn't off the top of your head. There have been 4 girls in the last 7 years that have come to Boone County from other schools and 1 left Boone and went to another school and is now not even playing. The last from Conner was always going to come to Boone but Conner chose to play her out of Middle School. I don't know where you got the Dixie, St. Henry transfers from must have been way before my time.The new proposal would have no affect on any of the transfers above anyway each one lives in the Boone County district. I am sure you can look at Highlands, ND, Holy Cross, and Newport Catholic and find more transfers than at Boone.

great job BC. Just shows what good hard defense will do for you. I would like to mention one player who did not make the all region tournament team. She does all the grunt work holding off the bigger players and setting the high and low screens while being out sized every game. She is probably one of the most athletic girls in the region and works her tail off every game. Congrats Meredith Reed way to work. Jackie keep your head up those shots will be falling for u down state just wait and see, you keep playing hard.
