Yes at in that one point win it was basically luck no matter how you look at it... buta win is a win and thats what matters..but also the night before Somerset played Casey at Casey so i dont believe that was a factor... Somerset has also had one of the toughest scheldules in the region and struggled early...But I just dont see how you have SW that high and Somerset that low...But everyone has their opinion and I just believe the Jumpers are playeing well enough right now to be higher than 8th for sure.
If Southwesterns players are sick they sure didnt show it last night against Russel county. Everyone seemed fine as far as i could tell. But i could be wrong.
Somerset will meet Danville and the winner will play the winner of Monticello and Burgin... So far looks like the Jumpers will be making a 7th straight appearance in Richmond. I dont believe any of these can stop the Jumpers right now
These two play tommorow night at West...Somerset struggled early but have turned things around and seem to be headed in the right direction... These are two of the top teams in the 12th any thoughts on how this game will go...note that the Jumpers are on a 5 or 6 game winning streak with some huge wins lately
Yes. i believe that makes 5 wins in a row for the jumpers. All of which by double digits! Bourne was unstoppable down low and Price took over in the 4th quarter. This was all without Somersets starting point guard, Cole..
This one was never close... looks like the Jumpers could be turning their season around...and looks like another trip to Richmond for them, as long as Burgin and Monticello dont surprise people... Jumpers were up 35 at one point in this one...looks like a down year for the ads
I think this turns the Jumpers season around right here...If u think about it Somerset is just now getting everyone back and ready to go...i think this starts a Jumpers run...
Well i guess its a good thing its 5 games into the season! But you do realize that Boyle co. last year started out about 5-11 last year and still won the region last year. And i'm sure they probably "played poorly in a home game to determine a seeding in one of those 11 early season losses!" I know i'm defending them hard, but anyone is going to defend their team. They may not have shown up to play, but criticizing them after one bad game is a little harsh.
Seems to me your basing your opinion on one game. Yes, Somerset played terrible the other night, but if you watched them beat Casey co. a few nights before by 25 you wouldnt be saying this at all. Everyone has a bad game, luckily its early in the season.
In a real gym? Somerset is a class A school, of course Southwesterns gym is going to be bigger an better. And when Somerset wins on Jan. 13th, lets not blame it on the gym.
