  1. But, there are a lot of returners who can't take it to the house even on a blown coverage. Hester was a great pick for the Bears...similar to Jermaine Lewis (is that right?) when Baltimore rode their defense to a title. How many times have he and the Bear defense been directly responsible for giving the Bears enough to win a game. With their schedule, it's possible they could have made the playoffs without an offense...

Like it said on there last night, Grossman and the offense left the field with 5 minutes to go in the half and didn't return until 7 minutes to go in the 3rd. The Bears defense and Special Teams are amazing.....

  2. Rudi will be on the loose against this poor tackling defense. But in the past few games that isn't the only problem the Colts have had.....in their last 5 games (2-3) Peyton Manning has had a rating of 75.4 and threw 4 TDs compared to 7 INTs. That is something not many have addressed, their might "O" isnt so mighty anymore......

    Bengals:38

    Colts:17

  3. All I see is another Mr. Basketball that gets away from Tubby Smith and the Wildcats. Don't know why we aren't recruiting within our own state! Lofton, might of been a good pick up for the Cats, but oh yeah, someone said he wasn't a player and couldn't shoot, give me a break!

It has been 3 years since the Lofton pass up but still that seems to be all anyone can talk about. By the way some of you talk he is going to be the next Micheal Jordan. Yes he is an outstanding player at TN but I think that Tubby has more problems than that right now.

  4. What I was most impressed with Neely was he was an great anticapater. He knew where the ball was going and got in many passing lanes that way resulting in easy shots. He is a very good player.

Thats what I always noticed too. I think he also took time to look at any kind of scouting reports and worked extremely hard while he was at Owsley. It is great to hear he is doing well.

  5. Jackson City likes to press and score off of the press. Breathitt has alot of size and impressed me by the way that they rebound. Coach Banks has these guys playing hard. I dont think Breathitt will have a problem with the press and Jackson City is to small to take them in the half court.

    Breathitt by 10

On Friday night Breathitt handled the Hazard press very well, even though they lost.

  6. Romans will be ready don't believe anything else except he will play. This game will depend on defense and rebounding. I saw Powell early in the year and they couldn't get the ball up the floor that could cause a problem if that hasn't changed. Lee is still limping a little with the injury bug and has not been rebounding well. So this game will be close, and since it is at Powell it makes it more interesting for the Bobcats to overcome. But

The King says Lee will prevail by 6

I really believe that this is the key to all of Lee's success this year. They can score but they cannont give up easy points off put backs....they have to control or at least mediate the glass.......

  7. I don't see Powell beating Lee at all. I was simply saying that Powell will compete in a closer game as the year progresses and Romans gets healthy. Lee is to deep and athletic. However, with that being said, when it comes to district games reagrdless of where they are played anybody can be beat anywhere in the 56th this year.

Oh I was saying anything bad in that statement, I was just saying that Lee is way tougher at home than on the road. I think that Tuesday will be much different that later on in the season because of Romans having a little "Rust" on him. I think that when they play at Lee it will be close but that Lee will edge them out. But I do agree that anyone can beat anyone in the 56th, one of the most competive in the state.
