OK, I would assume there is little debate on Georgia and Alabama being at the top two spots in the SEC at the present But who is number three and why?

I don't have cable TV. Listened to this one on the radio. That defense was the absolute "bend but don't break" defense. So happy for Josh Paschal! Who cares how it looks, just win baby!
Winning ugly is still beautiful!

Great game from start to finish. Harrison loaded the bases in the 7th with no outs and failed to score. PC led off the bottom of the 7th with a triple and did not score. Good defense in the inning by both and clutch pitching also.

Yep. Loved Rupp's Runts. Conley, Dampier, Riley, Kron, and Jarascz(spelling?).

Final from Falmouth.
Highlands led 6-4 going into the bottom of the 7th and Pendleton rattled off 3 runs without getting any outs.
Couple of pretty solid teams.
Pc is on a pretty good roll. They defeated Male, Marshall County, and Madison Southern on Saturday at the Dan Cummins Classic. Record is 10-3 now I believe.

And as the ultimate demonstration of my generosity, that even includes Can’tcoach, Mustang, Runcible Owl and the Parker brat.
Any other BGPers probably rate a pop as well.
He's not kidding. Even delivered a bag to my wife a few years ago at the regional tourney. I don't care what Parker says about him; mcpapa is a good guy.

I haven’t looked at the “standings” for a while. I think several more people picked HHS than E’town.
I’ll work up the final scores reasonably soon after the final.
To be honest, I’m just happy if I defeat Parker and Can’tcoach. That’s a win in my book.
Your standards are very low.

Thanks for running the contest. It was enjoyable for me until it wasn't. At first glance I thought you had omitted me. Wish you had. I would have done fine if you had allowed mulligans.

I have the potential for 23 points which means absolutely nothing.

Exactly, I think.

Muhlenberg was my upset pick for the tourney. I'm already upset that i chose them.

KCC coach said in pregame that defense was not their strong point. He wasn't kidding.

Muhlenberg County Mustangs (19-1) – The Mustangs have won 16 straight games heading into the Sweet 16. They are led by Senior shooting guard Nash Divine (16.5ppg). Senior swingman Cole Vincent is the backbone of the team, hitting several key 3 pointers in wins over Owensboro and Owensboro Catholic in the 3rd Region Tournament. Muhlenberg is sneaky athletic. They were able to run with Owensboro and outperform them in the process. Trey Lovell is a tough hard-nosed guard who is one of the best defenders in the 3rd Region. He can shoot the 3 and get to the rack and finishing though contact. He missed part of the season with an arm injury but is back to 100 percent and performed very well in the regional tournament. Issac Rose is a lunch pail type of kid who can go out and score 20 on any given night but most of the time he is known for his ability to lock down defensively and hit the boards. The Mustangs don’t have a ton of size, but Donovan McCoy and Alex Johnson give good physical minutes in the paint. They are very fundamentally sound and will make you work inside. Their rebounding comes more as a total team effort instead of one player. They average 26.7 boards a game because they all box out extremely well.
One of the biggest strengths for Muhlenberg County is their depth. Brayden Lovan leads the charge off the bench for Coach Eades. He is an extremely athletic guard who can defend, shoot and get to the rim. Asher Carver comes off the bench as a tough spot up shooter who can play some defense. He defended a much bigger Ji Webb for a stent on Sunday when McCoy was in foul trouble and did a pretty good job. Do not leave him open in the corner or he will make you pay. Davion Summers is another guy off the bench who provides no drop off when he enters the game. Down 3 late in the 3rd quarter, Summers hit a big 3 to tie the game. He plays tremendous defense and can score at the rim.
Coach Eades has done a tremendous job with this group. They do all of the little things well and seldom beat themselves, as proved by their 19-1 record. He has a great staff, led by former Muhlenberg North Coach, Steve Sparks. They can play any pace or tempo, as proved in the 3rd Region Tournament. Highlands is a tough draw, but they will be in for an all day job against these Mustangs.
Am now more encouraged by my upset pick in the contest. Nice summary!

Are the games in the 10th region live streamed anywhere today? I don't see them scheduled on the NFHS.
