I still don't see this series ending in 5. The Tigers have been playing dead so far but I don't think they are going to roll over because this is win or go home and if they have to I think they may bring in 1 or 2 starters to pitch relief if they have too. I think the series is going game 7. It's ain't over till it's over, and if everyone remembers I'm pretty sure that in the 2001 world series New York was up or down 3-1 against Arizona and that went to game 7, I may be wrong but I think I'm right.

What Beltran did was silly. He in no way should have left that bat on his shoulder. It's simple fundamentals on 2 strikes protect the plate, I mean especially since your season depends and the world series is riding on it. I laughed after I seen him strike out and if I was Randolph that would have been the sickest feeling ever. I bet a lot of the players in the dugout and the players on the basepaths were upset because of Beltran not even taking a protecting swing. Congrats to the Cards...

Fundamentals of baseball is swing at anything close and protect the plate especially on an 0-2 count. Beltran didn't have any intention of swinging at that pitch..
