I would call a less than .500 season struggling. And if we had girls that don't play much play and still won by 30, that's even worse. And one of our top players didn't play at all.
And what region had the State Champs ? You might want to look at who you play on that one.

So the varsity team struggled last year and you miraculously think the jv team is going to come in and be contenders? I don't quite understand your logic. If those girls behind them were so good, then why weren't they contributing to the varsity team's "success"?
What varsity team struggled ? ( Not us ) It was one game if your talking about the CC game. You had girls that didn't get much playing time get some in that game. I know your team very well and I know ours . I think well be fine.

That doesn't make any sense. Losing 8 seniors is usually a very big negative.
If you have good talent why would it ? Over all this year I think this team has a little better basketball IQ then last years team . They have more girls that have played AAU all they way up and have done well . I do believe against some of your camels.

Not when you have 2 good teams playing behind them . You just reload and go ! :thumb: JV and Freshman teams loaded with talent.

I agree with you BlueDad. This Sophomore and Junior class will need to grow up pretty quickly. They are a talented group of mostly (basketball only) girls which makes a huge difference in skill level.
I know 6 or 7 played AAU together thru the years. Should be a fun year to watch this Team grow together ! They have a lot of good talent and depth to run with anyone I think this year.

Last season playing my Lady Camels they lost by 30 without Neace. CC was also without their best player.
I really wouldn't look to much into that game. You do remember we had 8 seniors last year , this team will be totally different from last year. Better be ready to run.

Gabrielle Stewart has verbally committed to Ohio Northern and Teresa Urban has committed to Thomas More. Very happy for these girls as I have seen how hard they have worked!!! Great girls, great families!!! Cant wait to see them play their final year at St Henry.
FANTASTIC !!! Congrats to both girls !!!

McKinlee Miller. Will be a freshman at Campbell County. Clocked her fastest time on Friday at a 10.662 from Home to Home. Time from home to first at Thursday camp was 2.5. Kid has some wheels on her!
Just wondering about this time and speed. I have a little lefty that is a little quicker then McKinlee and is becoming a very good bunter . Is this good times for the next level coaches ? ( collage etc. )

Bias of course, but I'd like to think Paige Noble from St. Henry would be in the top 10 mix.
Don't get Notre Dame at #4. Top 10 maybe- but certainly the lower half. We'll soon see.
I think ND is the 10th Team . I would move Conner in front of Cooper and Boone this year also. Conner goes deeper on the bench with more speed. Don't be surprised if the top 2 teams get bumped by seasons end . Paige Noble is a Top 10 player in the region this year.

Dixie is ready to play this week and I think it will be close. I was at the Scott - NCC game, both teams need work and easy to read on the offensive side. Dixie 21 - 13

So lets get it started , who will be the Top Teams in the 9th Region this year ? Will the defending State Champs Holy Cross be the Team to Beat ?

Atleast one team withdrew but I do not know who that was.
Little School right down the road could fill in , I think its St. Henry. :thumb:

St Henry over Notre Dame 52 to 30 at the Freshman Level last night at St Henry . The Young Lady Cru improve to 11-3 on the year.

Page Noble is one of the top players in the area this year . If you don't play St. Henry you wouldn't know. Average's over 10pts a game easy and 5 or more rebounds a game. The girl can out jump most players and play's very strong defense. Marlena Kellam , Mattie Darlington , and Abby Benson will be players to watch for the Lady Cru !
Noble - Sophomore
Kellam - Sophomore
Darlington - Sophomore
Benson - Freshman

Did you play any ? We played them 3 different times with a tough little schedule . All I'm saying is well be fine. I would be worried about your team and getting knocked off by Scott in the finals. :thumb:
