Good one...
 Atta boy....

Cool, sounds like a winner! :thumb:
Speaking of the track and winners, I am 0-Lifetime betting on horses.
-
As often as possible, but unfortunately that has only been about once every couple of weeks. I need to hit one of the Friday nights for the late first post (2:45) and the cheap beer and hot dogs. Those are always a lot of fun.
I'll have a little more time to get up there during the week once spring sports is finished in the next couple weeks.
Hit me up when you do...Me and the guys usually go out once a week.
-
Personally, I can't think of anything more relaxing than a nice day at the track.
You come to CD much?
-
What should I do for my B-Day this year?
Come to Louisville...Go to 4th Street, then Bardstown Rd., then PT's.

So much for the fun in the baseball game...

Go Lakers!
Easy with the agreement thing.....
( Obviously kidding. )

This myth about the Spurs being the "whiniest" team in the league is bull. Do you even watch the games? I see just as much whining by the Lakers/Pistons/Celtics/Hornets etc...
Tim Duncan cries after every call/no-call versus him...He ran over a man that was CLEARLY set in the lane tonight and threw his hands up in the air when the charge was called...
-
Go Lakers....Beat the whiniest/dirtiest team in the League...:thumb:

What up homies...

Watching the Preakness was amazingly impressive... If you heard Desourmeaux in his post race analysis it really was something to see... Coming around the last turn before the stretch he had his horse running third and he was holding him back. And it was easy to see that once he hit the stretch and he let him loose... Amazing how much of an extra gear he has comparative to the other horses...

I think the red jerseys and black pants look awesome.

Hey, this was started by a UNC fan. Don't blame the UK fans on this one.
These are what I was referring to...:thumb:
Well I'll start. UK is the best team around..And U of L is still "Little Brother"
UK>UL -
How about we throw out everything prior to the 2007-2008 season. The Cardinal spin machine can boast that UK has never beaten UL in basketball. Makes about as much sense as only counting some of the years to make it look better for the red side.

You guys kill me.

The aerial shot of the race is my favorite. Coming out of turn 4 into the top of the stretch, the jockey turned him loose and it looked like the other horses were running on treadmills compared to Big Brown. I hope he can finish it off at Belmont.
-
Um, Big Brown may lap a horse in the Belmont.

I was wondering where this thread was.

This game is always won in the trenches. UK will have the advantage in both O & D lines and a huge advantage at LB's.
Could you possibly think of a more cliché reason as to why UK will
win?
-
I'll break it down like this.
I think there are 3 games that UK should definately win: Norfolk State, Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky.
I think the home field advantage will be enough for them to get wins over both Vanderbilt and Arkansas.
I don't think that they can beat Georgia, Florida or Tennessee this season.
Barring upsets that would put them at 5-3 with four games that I see as tossups in which either team could win. I think that UK will be slight to moderate underdogs against UL, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Alabama. The overall record will probably hinge on those games. With 3 of them being on the road I don't look for UK to do real well in those games. I'm going to pick UK to end Spurrier's hex, lose the other 3 and end up at 6-6.
Very solid analysis. :thumb:

you had to go there or be apart of FHS to know what I'm talkin bout.:thumb:

In the early 2000's, there was no better school to be at in Frankfort.

I think its great. UL has good attendance. It will be interesting to see if they can fill up a bigger stadium on a regular basis.
Are they going to fill it every single game? Absolutely not, but that doesn't mean there isn't a need for an expansion. I've been to many a UK game the last 5 or so years that the stadium either wasn't full, or emptied after the third quarter. It's about ticket sales. All the Athletic Dept. can do is sell the tickets, they can't make people show up.
-
UL will have the worst defense in the Big East this year.
Maybe so...Doesn't mean UK will beat them.

Mike Oder was great for the school system in his time there, and I'm VERY confident that Rich Crowe will have the same affect.
Any nay-sayers anymore?
