I've heard several different versions of the story, and all sound very similar. WHHS called a timeout with less than a second, and more than 3 seconds were put back on the clock...

I was at this one...South Laurel put up one heckuva fight...At first it seemed they may have been a bit timid of Mayo and Walker, but that changed pretty quickly. Mayo and Walker were still impressive, althought only scoring 18 and 12 respectively.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Franklin County will win both the boys and girls district titles this year. Chalk and Thacker have their teams looking very good to start off the new year. County's two big men are monsters down low. Any thoughts?

County is VERY tough...Very impressed with them. Gotta give Hills some credit too, though. They kept it very close for a majority of the game. Charles Keene is a beast for Hills, he's a great player.

What little kid dreams of playing in the state tourny at "FREEDOM HALL"?

Contrary to popular belief in this state, there are younger players that like UofL and not UK....So I'd say there are some youngsters that dream of playing in Freedom Hall.

He was a pleasure to watch at Frankfort, and it seems like he has improved his game since then. Congrats to Aaron and good luck to him and HC in the future.

Frankfort had one this past summer...They made the mistake of putting all the younger players (guys from my class) on one team against the older fellows...It got ugly...:lol:

Owsley was only 1-5? I thought this might have been a quality win...

I would guess he's not good enough for Louisville right? Just go after him like you've never heard of his dad IMO.

UL has been known for their very talented QB's, so to go there and play would be a big accomplishment. As for recruiters, you do exactly what OR said...I believe if his dad wants him, he'll get him. There's no reason for recruiters not to go after him just because he's Petrino's son. It may not be in Nick's best interest to go to UofL, so why not take a chance recruiting him?
