I spoke with one of the coaches and he was excited about participating and thought the concept was great. I think it was a good thing. I hope that it will continue.

Scooterbob, I have been re-reading and I think that "On Star" can help with your roadside assistance issues. Maybe you could be the dispatcher and handle those distress calls.

I totally agree. Memories and friendships that last a life time. I think that players also learn respect for the other guys and earn respect as well. We Yaks believe that when between the white lines give all and when we are outside the white lines leave it back there.

I was also at that game. Incredible football game. Great atmosphere. The kind that make young yaks want to play on the gridiron. You never know someday a little yak may be the difference in a 1 point game. I sure hope so.

I'm your huckleberry. Could't resisit. I know the answer to the famous question transfer or recruit. I believe that the burden of proof is with the originating source. For instance, "If you come here .........." recruit vs. "If I come there ........." transfer. I know that it is not that simple, but I think that this is where it starts. Tough thing is the best recruiters will lead people to make the latter of the two statements, thus calling and believing themselves to be transfers. How clear is that? In the future, I don't think that Coach Evans would avoid playing someone better if he had the chance.

Here is also an interesting thought, a coach could take a game like this to dress and play the freshman ensuring their varsity participation. If I'm not mistaken this would cause them to think twice about transferring because they would have to sit out a year.

Don't think that the new coach at Boyd would try to run it up on someone. He is obviously in a game that was contracted before he began and if this game gets out of hand early, I believe that you will see a lot of underclassmen getting the reps. If they were to score, then he would have to make a decision whether to have kids with little to no experience to not go full speed and risk injury. That is why they make the big money.
