Lead off batter on by error on 3rd baseman
-
8-4 after 6

Got to say "hats off to Scott Eagles". Did not see this coming. Good draw at state.
I agree, but they have been getting better at the right time. One of the best draws the 10th Region has had in a while.
-
Scott High 8 Bourbon County 4 bases loaded 2 outs and Pope is done after walking 2.
-
As Dandy Don Meredith would say, "Turn Out The Lights, The Party's Over!"
-
8-4 wild pitch!
-
With all due respect, BoCo hasn't played the toughest schedule in the state...they may want to schedule at least 1 Lexington school next year to get them ready for the playoffs.
Yes, there schedule is weak, but even at that 32-3 is impressive.

Bourbon County 4
Covington Scott 7
Bottom of the 6th
Unbelievable! Bourbon County may never make it to the State Tournament! Why let a pitcher walk 8 batters! Bourbon County has never won the Region. Scott High last won the Region in 1988 while in the 9th Region. Simon Kenton, Connor and Scott High going to the State in the same year!
-
Wearing everybody ought with Bourbon's pitching stats, but no Ky team has scored 5 or more runs on Bourbon this year in 37 games. Might be in uncomfortable territory. Eagles might have Colonels Adam's apples getting a little larger!
Is it Bourbon County pitching, defense or is Scott High just hitting the ball?

What happened?

I could care less who won this game, but for a high school team to do something you do in coach pitch or at the little league level is bush league. The player or players from Scott that made that call hit the dirt on their next at bats if I'm coaching
It's part of the game, bush league or not. Harrison base runner should have been paying attention. No excuse!

5-4 Scott, end of 5th
Wow
-
Bourbon made at least 2 errors in the 1st inning. If not for a Scott base running blunder, Scott could have scored more than 1 run in the 1st inning.
-
Coach Whitaker spoke on the radio after the game and had no excuses. Just a young player mistake. Harrison going 25-12 most likely overachieved this year. Congrats to the Breds on a very good season and Coach Whitaker for moving into the number 2 spot in all time wins in the state of Kentucky, trailing only PRP's Coach Bill Miller.

Andrew Trame
Sorry, it sounded like Crane on the radio. He pitched well!
-
Scott scores 2 in the bottom of the 5th and Crane goes the distance as Scott advances to the 10th Region Finals against Bourbon County. Scott improves to 24-13 on the year while Harrison finishes with a 25-12 record. Congrats to the Eagles on the win.

Brown out duels Verst as Bourbon County improves to 32-3 on the year.

Final from Game 1 in the 10th Region!

Thorobreds win yet another District Championship!

There was no need for ESPN to keep showing Michael Sam and his boyfriend kissing during Sports Center! What do you all think? Sure glad he went to the Rams!

Wow! This is unbelievable! Such high expectations for the Wildcats this year per the story I read in The Falmouth Outlook. Hopefully Coach Valentine can get the Wildcats motivated.

Dandy Don Meredith was the QB when I started following the Cowboys! 2 tough losses to Green Bay helped me learn to hate the Packers at an early age. I have been a fan since 1966! I survived the 1-15 season and have enjoyed many ups and downs. Room decorated with 50+ Dallas hats and 20 jerseys plus a lot of memorabilia. Also decorate my 2010 Scion XD like a Cowboys helmet on wheels during football season. HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!!!

The Breds stay undefeated in 10th Region play.
The Thorobreds improve to 15-7.
The Colonels fall to 18-2.
Nice win for the Thorobreds!
