The last time Harrison County faced the Royals in the 10th Region Tournament Harrison won 60-54 after losing big during the regular season, but that was in 2005. Harrison then lost to Montgomery in the 2nd round. Good luck to the Breds Monday night.
-
Harrison gets a nice win, but if they don't come back to reality it will be a 2nd Round exit for the 3rd consecutive year and it doesn't matter whether it is Paris or Scott High.
-
Thats what i saw! As for this game it will probably be another close tight game. I like the possible rematch potential of Harrison and Pendleton in the second round. I am also taking the Breds by 3.
HC 69
MC 66
Harrison could only play Pendleton in the Finals. HCHS is one and done.

69-61 lead with 3 minutes to go is blowing it!
Harrison didn't blow the win...PC took it !
Harrison wins this one against Mason !
In a real good one they win by 3
Upset !

The Dallas Cowboys are set to put the Franchise Tag on Dez Bryant which should all but clear any possibility of a damaging video existing. NFL Leading Rusher RB DeMarco Murray will be allowed to test the Free Agency waters. In my opinion anybody can run behind the Dallas "O" Line including Joseph Randle if he stays out of trouble or AP if he signs with the Boys. However, Dez Bryant is the best WR in the NFL and the Boys need him. I know there are a lot of haters out there, but what do you all think? Cowboys fan since Dandy Don was QB.

Harrison comes out flat after blowing the game against Pendleton in the District Finals. Mason leads big early and cruises to a 74-56 win. Thank goodness that Baseball Season is just around the corner for the Thorobreds! Any other predictions?
-
Mason County will never, ever sit on the other side.
Just like in Baseball. If Harrison County or any other team hosts the Region, they can be the Visitor on the scoreboard, but they will not give up their dugout.
-
I think Mason County will win the Region. Experience or not in the Tournament they have the best "Team" and if it gets close, the home court will be the difference.
-
Okay, somebody help me out please. How do you blow a 69-61 lead? Was it missed free throws?
-
Very disappointing for Harrison County, but hard to beat a team that hits 3's like that.
-
I am just happy for Coach Hicks! LOL

Not many coaches start the year at one school and coach at another school in the same year.
Any chance this gets "resolved" in circuit court before the Harrison County/Scott County game on Jan. 6th?
Where is that game played? Should be interesting!
-
I'm sure many won't agree with me, but I find it a little pathetic that a coach would go out of his way to make sure a kid isn't eligible at another school.[/quote
Yeah I totally disagree with you. I have never totally agreed with the coaching abilities at HCHS since Mike Reitz left, but I am in 100% agreement in anything Coach Kendall had to do with this verdict. First of all, it's about time someone stood up to Billy Hicks and the mighty holier than thou Scott County Cardinsls. Second of all, DJ Jenkins got what he deserved by running out on his teammates!

I was at the game scouting Harrison for the 2nd time and no offense to Augusta or their defense, but I would estimate Thompson at about 50%. He played roughly 50% of the game and had no arch on his 3 compared to last year and the game I watched earlier. Still a good win for Augusta but definitely Harrison wasn't at full strength
Harrison has the potential. They just lack the leadership from their bench as in Coach. Has been a recurring problem at HCHS ever since Mike Reitz left. I can understand why players want to go elsewhere and play. Not to take anything away from Augusta as they played a very good game, but Harrison should have won this one.

The return of Isaiah Johnson. I wonder how Hines Jones is doing. Jenkins looks to be a prolific scorer.
Jenkins as in the "Transfer" from Harrison County? How are their other 2 "Transfers" from the Scott County AAU Summer Team doing?
-
The Steelers and the Bengals - One no better than the other!
And they both stink!
-
As always.
Tough season for the Thorobreds as they finish the year as 0-11.

Who got tossed?

Wave the white flag and stop the bleeding please!

Running clock halfway through the 3rd quarter. Rico Hill with 4 first-half rushing TDs and Tyrion Fox with a pair. Things are tough in Cynthiana right now.
Hate to see a pair of Royal starters go down with what may be collarbones. Good kids and good players.
Surprised that Harrison County could cause bodily harm to anyone! Did they trip and fall?

Trey Wingo just tweeted that Radisson is pulling sponsorship with the Vikings....
Good for Radisson! Minnesota botched this one bad! If you were going to let it play out in the judicial system they should have never de-activated him to start with. However, they wait until they get blown out and then decide to let the judicial system take its course and thus re-instate him. Minnesota choked this one as bad as "The Hail Mary" pass and the Herschal Walker trade! Another loser move!

More offensive was Jake Locker today in the 1st half...it was tough being at LP Field with a bunch of cowboys fans.
It was fun being a Cowboys fan at LP Field with the Titan fans.
-
Never been a Bengals fan and never will. However, I must compliment the Bengal's organization on a very classy move! Prayers for Devon Still's daughter and the family.

Like I said last week, Coach Graham was very under appreciated at Harrison County. It's a shame that people didn't recognize what a good job he really did until after he left. This may be the weakest team Harrison County has ever fielded in football.

I am afraid you may be right. Scott wins this one 67-62. Baseball season starts Saturday for the Thorobreds!
What time are the games Monday?
