I’m not talking about the playoff. The B1G can’t control if Ohio State gets in the playoff. Explain to me what would have been more fair? Put Indiana in? The team Ohio State beat?
Did they meet the criteria to make the Big 10 championship? No. Did they change the rules to benefit OSU? Yes. Explain, in a unbiased way, how that's fair. It's not about fairness. It's about money.

It just kills you that they have beat quality teams, doesn't it?
Sorry, that was meant for this quote from John Anthony:
"Says the ND fan who’s bankrolled by NBC to be average for 9 out of every 10 years."

You’ll eventually see the light, but I love the grit in you to go 7 pages. When OSU comes up on here, just picture Barry Bonds smirking coming up to bat on the road.

The difference between you and me is I admit when there's bias towards Notre Dame. I've said it on here and you know darn well I have. I don't care who the team is, it's not right. They don't deserve it, they didn't earn it, the rules were changed for monetary reasons, end of story.
But just to make you happy, since you want to just turn this into a pointless "you hate Ohio State " comment, I'll play along. Maybe they should put an asterik on their helmets. Hope that helps.

What occurred was because of fairness. Money is a by product of what happened.
Fairness? Interesting. You have teams playing 10 games to earn their spot. Remind me, how many games has Ohio State played?
You have a very biased opinion, it's your team, I get it. But changing the rules this far in just so OSU can get what they want is anything but fair.

I'm finding it funny, or st least difficult, to understand why some are so confused about my previous post. I'll spell it out plainly. The Big 10 is more interested in money than rules. The NCAA is more interested in money than rules. Either rules apply or they don't. What just occurred is because of money. End of story.

Good to see money still trumps integrity in the NCAA...

As far as the Covid concern. If the NCAA was taking it seriously, there wouldn't be a season. Either it's dangerous or it isn't. Coaches and others constantly touching their masks, taking them off and every other mask infraction there is including players not wearing them. Yes, I know why they can't wear them. Still, not having a season would be the only answer if you're really that concerned about the spread of Covid.

I don't think anyone is salty... I could care less who won this game. I'm not a fan of anyone involved.
Again, enjoy the win. Notre Dame hasn't had too many of these since BK got there. Clemson at full strength is a different animal than what ND saw last night, though.
As far as storming the field, I've always had the mentality of "Act like you've been there before." Especially under the current circumstances where games are being cancelled every week because of positive tests. I said the same thing when Dan Mullen jumped up in the stands to celebrate with fans after beating UGA yesterday.
There's people salty every year when it comes to the Irish. Not just them, other teams too. Haters are there every season. Like I said, I get it.
Yeah I know, Lawrence didn't play. That's why the defense gave up the points they did I guess. That's why the running game was stopped. Look, great teams win when they face challenges like this. Now, I'm not saying Clemson isn't a great team because they are. Just last night, the Irish were a little better. Regardless of who plays in the next game chances are the Irish will lose because it is tough to beat a great team twice. If the Irish lose, I won't be making excuses. I'll just say the better team that night won. Wish others could do the same.

Exactly. Happens a lot, no matter how much "they've been there".
I get it though, some salty people because ND won a game against a team they thought they couldn't beat.

Yeah I’m throwing shade by saying they are jeopardizing their season and playoff hopes by creating a super spread event.
Dude, like your team wouldn't have done it in a game they were lucky enough to beat a # 1 team....
You think these college kids are distancing themselves. Be realistic.
Anyway, How about them Irish!

No, you just want to throw shade. The Irish knocked off #1. That's all that matters about the game.

Yeah that’s what I got. Have you by chance seen games get cancelled this year yet? I doubt all those people who ran onto the field get tested daily.
Don't go to Tennessee....
-
3 minutes ago, John Anthony said:
No that’s always incredibly stupid but at least he’s tested daily.
Then why didn't you bring it up until you were pressed?

To be fair, most people were just as confused that Lawrence was at that game as they were with ND rushing the field.
Most, but not the usual...

But it was okay for Lawrence being on the sidelines after testing positive...
-
But it's okay for a guy that tested positive to be on the sidelines with the team... What happened to quarantine?

Let’s storm the field during a pandemic in a season where we can go to a title game!
Lol, that's what you got?

Okay...

Likely a game 2 in the ACC Championship. How about them Irish!

Maybe. Heck, they may beat ND in a big way. I never said OSU wasn't a good team. If that were to happen, I certainly won't cry about it.
