I am absolutely amazed at the lack of respect Oldham County gets. They lost 1 game the whole month of February. They beat Shelby and Gallatin @ Gallatin and lost by 9 to Simon @ Simon and everyone is writing them off. Just because they are not flashy doesn't mean they aren't good. They are solid defensively and have the most experienced coach in the region. Everyone better beware of the Colonels. How can Gallatin be the hottest team in the region when they are 4-3 in their last seven games and almost lost both games in their district tournament???

There was a technical foul called in the game.

I was at a district championship game tonight and one team had 16 players in uniform. I thought that you could only dress 15 players in uniform for post season. Is this a violation? What would the penalty be for this?

Where have you been all year? Those 3 are from the 8th region. "Let the boys play" is now becoming football - defense is supposed to be played with your feet - not anymore. People talk about shooting and HS ball getting worse - checking cuts, pushing in the back and having both hands on the offensive player as he dribbles is NOT defense.

Does anyone know why GC played without 2 starters?

Funny you say that - why did they get tossed out of practice this week. They must be focused for the big game if your coach throws the entire team out of the gym. Walton by double digits - Grant is struggling.

Boys regionals have to be concluded before the girls state tournament starts on March 14th. They have just flipp flopped the schedules that the boys and girls have used the last few years. It could be changed but probably will be what Crestwood says

The Shipp kid from Grant County has put up solid numbers and games against all competition this year. Definately not top 5 or 6 but should be all-region.

Who have they played in the other districts? Have any of them played Shelby, Oldham Co, South Oldham, or North? What is their record against those teams?????

Can the cats play with Shelby? Grant County only got beat 13 against Shelby and lost big to Gallatin.

Grant puts 5 guys in double figures and slowed down there inside game to revenge an earlier loss this year. Big win for Grant on the road. Grant overcomes a bad call at the end of the game as the Sharp kid hits a 10 footer with 8 seconds to go and is called for a walk. Grant scores the first 8 points of OT and held Walton to one FG in the OT - outscoring them 16-5.

What about Jason West from the early 90's? You have to add him to the list.
