I would love to hear more about the best running backs in Eastern KY in the last 20 years. Here are a few that I can think off. Please feel free to add more to the list! Then maybe we can do a poll on the top ten to see who everyone thinks is the best! In no order, just to name a few! Gross - Russell Jones- Belfry Thomas- Ashland Coleman- Pikeville

It has deteriorated this thread and took away from it no matter who started it! This is my last post in this thread due to the direction that it has taken, so I could care less what is discussed! I would love to see more on the game, but I guess everyone wants to talk about the running backs of the past. Maybe we can talk about Maynard, Chapman and May in 2010!

I agree with you on Ashland, but this has nothing to do with Ashland! Please start a thread about the best three runninng backs in the world some place other than the Belfry Middlesboro thread! The three backs for Belfry will take Middlesboro to school in 2005! Then I hope the same for the winner of the Sheldon Clack/ Leslie and then maybe we will be able to discuss Russell and Belfry! End of story!

I have to say that I support what Pirate Pal is saying! Pikeville has not and is not the team that it was during the late 80's. That isn't to take anything away from Pikeville. Many teams would like to have a team like Pikeville had during that period of time. They were outstanding and could compete with almost anyone in the state. Pikeville has not done very much to make a statement in single A during the past 10 or so years! I hope the addition of the new coach that they will be able to take it to the next level and make all of us proud of them! I will support Pikeville in every game but one, and I think Pirate Pal feels the same way! Go Pikeville and Pirates!!!!!!!!!!!

We need to get back to the Belfry Middlesboro game and make another thread for this stuff!

What a game this might be! Will Middlesboro get revenge for 2003 and end the Pirates 2 year run? Will the Pirates make Middlesboro walk the plank? All of this will be answered next Friday at the CAM!
