I've spoken with Coach Hensley recently. He is not interested in being a head coach in the near future. I was told that he has some friends in Harrison County that he spoke to regarding their vacant position because he was contacted about the position, but is not interested. He is, however, interested in a lesser role as an assistant that would give him more time to spend with his family. As of right now, the only PLANS he has are to spend time with his children.

Pineville and Jenkins are in Hazard's district... Hazard cannot drop them.

I believe that Coach Dixon was the one who agreed to play Johnson Central... I don't think he's dodging anybody!

Any word out of Berea????

Coach Scenters was previously the defensive coordinator at Central under Coach Rains.... He has coached on the offensive side of the ball under Coach Turner.... Primarily working with the OLine... Madison Central played St. X in the Bowl Game at Lexington Catholic in 2000 or 2001...

Slapfest... With all due respect... I'm trying to figure out if you're a Mark Scenters detractor or just a Brumley supporter???? Either way... If you're a Madison Southern guy, you should want what is best for those kids... Coach Scenters would be a great choice as the next head football coach at Southern. He has been very involved in both sides of the ball in his tenure at Central, he knows the game inside and out, he believes in discipline and accountability AND he's a wonderful family man to boot. Furthermore, to my knowledge, he's a very respected teacher at Central as well. I do not know Mr. Brumley, but I think it's wonderful that he teaches at MSHS and has continued to work with those kids during the off season. That alone, however, does not automatically make him the best choice to lead your program. The best candidate should get the job, regardless of where they're from or where they've been working. Not sure how impressive this is in comparison to some other's stats, but I was told that Jordan Shepherd from Perry County Central (class of 2005) had over 1,000 yds rushing, passing and receiving for his career...
