  1. Any news on this job? Has there been interviews already? Any names?
  2. Here is my 2 cents worth... I am very glad and I hope there is a seperation and here are my reasons. 1. Public schools can not be selective and give placement exams for admittance. Privates can, and provide scholarships. Scholarships, in high school. 2. They don't deal with the same demographics as a typical public school. ( more could be elaborated ) 3. They are not held accountable by state testing and the norm grading system. 4. Resources are no where the same. When you compare private donations to having a bake sale for uniforms, there is no equal playing field. 5. The rule of playing the best, well here is actuality in the matter. If you were a kid from Whitley County or Owensboro and had a very good team. Wouldn't you want to have the opportunity to win a state title. As of now, X or T will win that battle. 6. The playing fields are no where the same in terms of populations. All girls or all boys have the unfair advantage of having a huge drawing pool. 7. As for going to a place to receive more recognition, let me say this. I came from a very, very small school in rural KY and I played Division I football. The bottom line is if you have the talent and size, they will find you. It is your ability, not who you play for or who you play against.
  3. Westsider, I am for sure this is a 4.4 legit, many times people write or say they have a 4.4 or 4.? and their uncle probably timed him, but Tuck Woolum timed him at a spring combine on grass. Tuck is the head coach at Pineville and has coached at EKU, Western Carolina, and was the head at Union. He told me this summer about how fast this kid was. See him on tape, against Corbin, he bounced outside after the power play got stuck and hit the sideline and then you see speed. Game speed. Shawn Johnson ran a 4.6 at EKU's senior day on grass, Danville has a linebacker that ran a standup 4.6, Those are the fastest kids I have seen this year. I know Joe Casy is fast but I have not seen him. As for accurate times, trust me Robbins is correct.
  4. Robbins is legit, he is an All - State candidate, if the ball is stuffed at the line and be bounces outside, you had better have two or more guys to wrap him up at the legs. He ran a legitimate 4.4 on grass. Next year, he will be one of the premier backs in the state, plus he has shifty feet and in open areas can hit the extra gear. Warren is not all state, Jordan Marcum is a better player and can fit up and drive, I know Warren is strong, but he can't pull or pass protect. Brent Barton is hard, plain and simple, but he is playing the wrong position for first team, a definite honorable mention. These three are worth the money to see them play. 'They play like football is meant to be played. Hard and all out effort.
