This one isn't going to be pretty, there will be a lot of defense and turnovers and fouls but I think it will be close. Indians can win if they a) take care of the ball (they need a good game ball handling game from Blaine b) play defense (I think Brandon Rash may be guarding Preston some and he needs to do a good job and Jordan needs to stay out of foul trouble while guarding Tristan Jones.)

If so what time should I arrive to assure a ticket in your estimation?
Thanks

This is great. I love watching UF lose. Noah would have been drafted top three last year. Not this year.

In all of the games that I've seen, Preston has conducted himself to the utmost,he always lets his game do the talking. This suspension(or whatever) and public calling out of him in the state's major newspaper is very dissapointing and somewhat shocking, especially on the coach's behalf. Am sure he has his reasons, but the newspaper thing is a no-no on any playing level. Keep things in -house. Have always compared Knowles demeanor to Lofton's,so don't see where this is coming from. Can any Cardinal fans in the know PM me? Thanks.
Did you see the game at Montgomery County? He got a technical, got rattled, shot poorly and turned the ball over probably 10 times. He seemed like he had an attitude that ame.
-
I should have gone last night! I thought about it. But I would have been sorry that Preston wasn't playing. I think maybe he needs to become a little bit more of a team player and cut down on the possesions where he comes down and just fires up a three off the dribble before passing it at all.
I'm sure thats probably not the main reason he didn't play though. Maybe attitude.

Wasn't the SEC in Atlanta and New Orleans about 10 years in a row? Ole Miss, Georgia, and Mississippi didn't dominate did they? UK has won the SEC more than anyone, and when (if ever) has the SEC tournament been held at Rupp?
The SEC is either held at a neutral site, or it at least rotates among multiple teams. My point is no one school gets to host that or any sort of post season tournament on their HOME floor EVERY year.
This is what should and does happen in 99% of the tournaments in basketball (the 10th region is an exception).
-
Could you imagine if North Carolina hosted every single ACC tournament, or UK hosted the SEC every year, or if the football finals were always at Male high school, or if the Hawks always hosted the NBA eastern conference regional final. Or if the Cleveland Indians hosted the ALCS every year. Wouldn't that be crazy.
-
Just play the 10th Region Tournament in Morehead or Memorial Coliseum!!! That way no one will be turned away and you dont have to arrive 3 hours early to get a seat!! As far as money goes these other programs dont need the money!! Except maybe one or two!! The baseball and football programs have plenty enough money(They get out and work for theres) Youi can also play the games at NKU or EKU!!! Its past time for a change!!
I think any reasonable person would agree that a neutral arena, or at least a rotating site is fair.

Thomas C. from the Indians. He always dresses with style.

Yes Mason Co. has the largest gym and it may sell out from time to time. However, the super bowl always sells out, is it always at the largest stadium? The same goes for college basketball, college football, almost every sport I can think of. If they always played at the largest arena these events would be in the same venue every year. No one complains about that.

:scared: Hey I have cheered for the Indians.:thumb:
Clark County has a good team to watch. I love watching Knowles and Jones seems like a good kid.
If Montgomery can't go to state (which it looks like they won't), I wouldn't mind seeing Clark do well this year.
-
Some of you Mason County fans have caused me to do something I thought I would never ever do. Root for GRC.
-
I'm positive they do it. They also get their dues paid as well. I guess the boys tourny accumulates more money than the girls.
Let it go to Mt. Sterling next year and fail. When everyone gets hurt in the wallet, then it will come straigt back to Maysville where it belongs. If Montgomery Co. wanted it that bad THEY SHOULD HAVE BUILT IT BIGGER!!!
Fans don't really care as to how nice the locker rooms are BUT if they drive a hour or more to a game and can't get in then I'd say someone will be dealing with alot of mad fans. And yes there were MANY mad Pendleton fans turned away 2 years ago.
They couldn't have built in bigger, buddy. There is a new regulation in KY limiting the size of any new high school gyms. Believe me they would have built one that holds 5,000 if they could.

Is the fieldhouse Marshall's gym?
-
Is the game at Marshall?
Will there be plenty of tickets at the gate?
How can I obtain tickets beforehand?
I live in Lexington.
-
Does anyone know his status for this rematch?
-
The Lexington roads have pretty much cleared up, it was bad this morning.
The ticket I have says 8pm but I called Hunington High and they said 7:30 so it might be safe to be early whatever time the game is.
-
Just wondering about the game

The last Sunday 10th region final (Harrison/Montgomery) in 96 just didn't seem the same.
Playing the finals on Sunday is a joke.

Indians need to do a better job of scheduling. I would much rather be 7-7 while playing 10 quality oppontes than 12-2 playing two. It is really embarrasing to see who they have scheduled. Their weak schedule could doom them come march.

Like everyone is saying GRC should be in there and they should be high.
How is Tates Creek #2?

The pep band is not going to improve the way I view the Royals.

Exactly what I thought. Brandon was the lone bright spot for the Indians. He did a great job guarding Knowles and by his senior year he should be a highly regarded player.
