For the 2nd week in a row I correctly pick the amount of points that Russell wins by. I will make it three in a row next weekend. For my expert prediction be sure and check out the Russell-O'Cath prediction thread.

I look for Russell to be able to run the ball at will on O'Cath, pretty much like the Belfry Pirates did last year. Coach McGlone wins his 2nd State Championship.

Congratulations to the Russell Red Devils. What a great ballgame this was. It was a battle of two halves. Russell flat out dominated the first half, and could have very easily been up 34-0 at halftime if it hadn't been for two big defensive plays by Belfry. Belfy seemed to gain the momentum after Michael Horn went out with an injury. Russell's defense came up big though we they needed too. A great coaching move to move Casey Clark out to cover #30 from Belfry. It paid off with the big interception to seal the victory for Russell. I am very happy for the Red Devils, and like I told Coach McGlone after the game I am thrilled to death for him. Here's hoping that the Red Devils bring home the hardware next weekend. My prayers go out to Mike Horn. I know he has to be thrilled that Russell is in the Championship, but has to be crushed that he won't be able to play in the game that he has worked all of his life to play in.

Does anyone know how I could get tickets? Will they still be selling them at the gate come gametime or what? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
They will be on sale at the school tomorrow from 10am-noon I believe. They will also be sellling them at the gate.

WOW!! That's all I can say to be honest with you. I respect both teams but honestly, I thought Bell would win by 4 tds. Congrats to the Rockets, Coach Larkey, and staff.
They played a real close game earlier in the year, and Rockcastle has been on a roll. What in the world made you think that Bell Co. would win by 4 touchdowns? :confused:

What is the seating like at Russell?
It's a nice stadium. A good place to watch a football game. You shouldn't have any trouble with seating. There is plenty of seating on the visitor's side of the stadium.

Wtg Russell on a nice win and another region title!!!!!!. Hats off to Newport for playing an excellent game not a thing to hang your head about. You left it all on the field where it was supose to be left. Tough way to go out for those Newport seniors good luck in the future to every single one of those seniors. :ylsuper: Goodluck to Newport next season.

It should be a great game, and it will be tough for the Red Devils to go to Newport and come away with a win. I still can't pick against Russell though. They are a great football team.
