I have no idea how to rank this region. The first 5 are easy. Everyone will not agree of the order but 1-5 has shown all season they are the best of the region. Ranking 6-12 is impossible. Teams have beaten teams ahead of them and then lost to teams below them. Some have lost on last second shots and others have been blown out. So these ranking are based on common opponents scores and the eye test. I realize that is subjective but since Jan 1, I believe that certain teams have gotten better and others have not. I think it’s obvious that North Oldham is in a league of their own. Can Simon , South Oldham , or something else knock them off in the region? It will be fun to watch. 1. North Oldham - same ole statement. They are in first place until someone proves otherwise. I have heard that Austin Sears has already gotten D1 offers. He is leading the team in scoring but others can score as well. Can anyone beat them in the region? 2. Simon Kenton- this group has won a lot of games this season and this senior class has won a lot of games in their career. The thought on everyone’s mind. Can they win the big one? The district championship game vs Walton will be a big one to get the number 1 seed for the regions. 3. South Oldham- losing to North Oldham made them mad. They have been on a tear ever since. Scoring a ton of points and winning all their games since by double figures and a few by 30 plus. They better be focus on getting past an up and down Oldham County team if they want a rematch with North Oldham in the District Champion. 4. Walton Verona - The Bearcats are enjoying a 6 game winning streak. They got a tough win by 3 points vs Oldham County. This group has the weapons to go deep in the tourney. 5. Spencer County - what a crazy thing to think about? You are the 5th best team in the region but you could easily lose in the semi finals of the district and never get a chance to repeat. Their district is so loaded. 6. Woodford County - just like the comment last week. What is going on in Versailles? Woodford is a very talented bunch but they haven’t shown it in district play. Their non-region schedule has been very tough so they could be improving even though the schedule might not reflect it. 7. Oldham County- even though they suffered back to back conference loses this past week, I am giving the Colonels the 7th spot. I could definitely understand if others disagree. They have lost 7 games this year either by less than 4 points or in overtime. I am giving them 7th place based on the eye test. 8. Collins- they are in a middle of a long losing streak. But look at their opponents. Their strength of schedule is probably 1st in the state the last 2 weeks. The Titans have the talent to get to the region and make some noise ! 9. Gallatin County - they could easily be in the 7th spot after a huge home win vs Oldham County on Senior night. I kept them behind Collins and Oldham because of some loses throughout the season. Gallatin is playing good basketball. Two weeks ago I would say with confidence that Henry county is the favorite to win the district but today I feel it’s a toss up… But it’s not just a two team race don’t forgot about Owen. 10. Henry County - I let Gallatin bump ahead of Henry mainly because of the win vs Oldham. This district tourney is going to be a fun one. It’s a three house race so it’s huge which teams stay away from each other in the semifinals. I haven’t seen a bracket yet but one of the three will walk to the championship and the other team will fight for their season with a chance to play for a championship . 11. Anderson County- I am keeping them in front of Owen because their resume is better. However scoring in the 30s is a bad performance against Owen. Anderson is not playing as well as they were a month ago. If they want to get to the region they better turn things around. The two semifinals in District 30 will be a battle . 12. Owens County - beating Anderson last week was the biggest win of their season in my opinion. What a great game on both ends they played . Can they use that win to catapult them to the regions. 13. Shelby County- The Rockets only have 3 wins but I still think they are better than the teams below them with more wins. They play an up and down Oldham County team this week. That would be a great win for their program. 14. Grant County – they have lost a lot of region games this season but they are dangerous enough to surprise someone in district play. Simon and Walton don’t need to take them likely. 15. Eminence County -15 wins for this group is huge. They will get at least one more this week. 16. Carroll County- Coach Hardens group has a chance to get to double digit wins this week vs Williamstown, Whitefield Academy , and Villa Madonna. 17. Cornerstone Chr- first year in KHSAA and they have a few regional wins. 18. Trimble County- got out of last place after a 37 point win vs Williamstown 19. Williamstown – 3 wins is not ideal with their schedule. They are hoping for one more this week.

WOW! This is a huge win for Gallatin. I know this is not a typical Oldham County team but anytime a smaller school in that districts beats an Oldham County school, it’s a big deal. Congrats to the boys of Warsaw!

Is the game streaming anywhere ?

Things are still moving and shacking in the 8th region. It seems like most teams are playing games outside of the region in the coming weeks so it will be hard to rank without head to head to matchups. I will be doing the rankings by who is the best teams as of today. I am not looking at overall records at this point of the season. A few teams are totally different than they were at the first of the season. Basketball is all about who is peaking at the right time. Who is going to peak in a couple of weeks? It is really hard to answer that question. I think the top 9 teams can cut down the nets at the ROY. However, there will be teams good enough to win region that will not even get out of the district tourney. South Oldham vs Oldham County will be a huge semi-final game. Who will come out of District 30?. Woodford, Collins, Spencer and Anderson have all beaten up on each other this season. Only 2 can go to the region. Those semi-final games will be unbelievably competitive and fun to watch. Get the popcorn ready the reg season is coming to a close and tourney time is right around the corner. Updated Rankings 1. North Oldham - they are in the top spot until someone knocks them off. Austin Sears and Brooks Cargould are running the show and they are two of the best guards around. The Mustangs have a big matchup this week vs Collins. The Titans have knocked off a few top opponents this season. Can they do it again? 2. Simon Kenton - the boys from NKY are 9-1 in their last 10 games. They are playing some great basketball. I am rooting for Steiner to make it to Rupp. I have a feeling the seniors who are leading the team (Jay, Jordan, Bode, and Braydon) want to get to Rupp just as bad as Steiner does. 3. South Oldham - the Dragons are 15-1 in their last 16 games. Their lone loss was from their rivals. Coach Simpson likes this team and knows he has chance to get back to Rupp. Julian Miles is planning on carrying this group all the way. Are the role players ready to step up too? 4. Walton-Verona- Could be my favorite team in the region. This group is a fun group to watch. They are led by the region player of the year favorite, Aaron Gutman. Aaron is a kid that can control the game and take his team all the way. The Bearcats beat arguable the best team in Region 9, Cooper High School, last week. No one else however is avg double figures on the team. Aaron will need some help and for someone to step up in tourney time. 5. Spencer County - after losing to both North and South by double figures I have my questions about this group. I still think they are good enough to win it all but they better concentrate on getting out of the district first. 6. Oldham County - I gave them the biggest bump because of the last two big regional wins. They beat Collins a few weeks ago and last week they beat a really good Anderson team. The Colonels record is not good but things seem to be clicking. This is the program that has won more regional championships than any other school in the region. Can they use that tradition to get to the region.? 7. Anderson County- they have some veteran guards that just know how to play. The way they like to slow the pace down is the perfect recipe to getting an upset in tourney time. Again it will not be easy getting out of the hardest district in the region but the boys from Lawrenceburg are excited for the opportunity 8. Collins- with a big game today vs North Oldham , the Titans will see if they can pull off another surprising win vs an Oldham school. They beat South a month or so ago which shocked a lot of people. Can they do it again tonight in Goshen ? 9. Woodford County- the most confusing team in the region to say the least. Preseason number 1 in most polls for Region 8 has not lived up to the hype. But the beautiful thing about high school basketball is all that matters is how you play starting in the tournaments. Can the yellowjackets flip the switch and start playing high level basketball? It’s a question that will be answered in a few weeks. Has a team previously ranked in the top 15 of the state ever not made it to the regions? Not sure but it could happen this season. 10. Henry County - Baylor Nolin is leading the region is scoring. He had 40pts vs Grant County in a big win for the Wildcats. Can Baylor lead his team to a district championship? He definitely can but he will need some help if they want to get out of the first round of the regionals. 11. Gallatin County – Even though Henry County are the favorites to win the district the boys from Warsaw have plans of their own. Will be a great district tourney. 12. Owen County – they played a competitive, close game vs North Oldham last week. Are they good enough to get to the region? I definitely think they are and might be upsetting someone in a couple of weeks. 13. Shelby County - huge win vs Grant County. The Rocket needed a big regional win for their team morale. Unfortunately for them they are in a 5 team district with 4 really good teams. 14. Grant County- they took a rough lost to Shelby County and a tough overtime lost to Henry. I don’t see them getting out of districts this year. 15. Eminence - even though they have more wins this year than I expected, they just don’t have enough to get passed the semifinals of the district. Losses last week to Henry and Owen proved they are not on their level. 16. Cornerstone Christian- to be honest I didn’t even know they were in the 8th region but looking at their record they have 8 wins and 2 of them are vs Region opponents. So welcome to the rankings Cornerstone Christian. 17. Carroll County- They need 3 more wins to get to 10 wins for the season which would be a success for this group. 18. Williamstown- a 3 win season is tough for anyone but they have a couple of winnable games left this season. 19. Trimble County- The boys from Bedford are working hard to get a couple more wins before the season is finished up.

Anything can happen but South is hosting the district. I don’t think OC has enough to win a big tourney game. South upset them last year and this year South is just better.

Walton-Verona beats a really good Cooper team. Walton will be dangerous come tourney time.

Anything can happen during tourney time , but I would definitely agree it would be a shock if they don’t win it all and cut the nets down at Henry County

The season is winding down and its getting close to tournament time. Here is my ranking and outlook for each team Rankings: 1. Simon Kenton- just had a big win versus Anderson recently. They are the most talented team and they are well coached. They are most peoples pick to win the Region 2. Anderson County- they have most likely the region player of the year in Laney Johnson. Do they have enough to beat Simon? It will be fun if they matched up in the championship game. 3. Grant County- I know they just lost to Walton badly but they are the only team with the firepower to beat Simon Kenton other than Anderson. That is why I have them in the 3rd sport 4. Spencer County- I am not sure how talented this team is top to bottom but they are very well coached. They could give anyone a scare late in the tourney. 5. Walton Verona- same as Spencer. They are a really good team that could beat anyone on any given nigh. 6. Woodford County- they are the surprise of the year for me. They have beaten some really good teams this year. Will they be able to make it out of a tough district though? 7. South Oldham- I feel like they have underachieved this season so far. They are in the weakest district in the region so they will get a number 1 seed that will help but if they draw the wrong team , they might not get out of the first round of the region. 8. Owen County- this team plays hard and attacks the basket. Any time you have a great point guard you can win games and they have one. 9. Gallatin County- a team that plays with alot of grit. I think they will get to the region but their semi-final game of the district will be a battle. 10. Trimble County- they don't have a ton of talent but they have a winning record which says a lot about their coach and how the kids play together. 11. Oldham County- a program that has been below average all year.. They have some wins but have a lot of bad loses. 12. Collins- they have a couple of great athletes but just don't have enough top to bottom to compete with good teams. 13. North Oldham- they are playing a lot of young kids. Almost beat Oldham County so they could possibly get to the region which would be a great accomplishment for them. 14. Carroll County- they play hard and compete nightly. don't see them going to the region this year. 15. Eminence - big win over Henry County . Its always fun to win a rivalry game. 16. Henry County- same as Carroll , they compete on a nightly basis. 17. Shelby County- they have one kid that can get buckets but the rest of crew is working to get better. 18. Williamstown- 1 win this year. They are working hard to pick up their second one. 19. Cornerstown Christian- still new to KHSAA. They are working to get better.

I don’t mean this in a negative way. But is Steiner the Rick Barnes of the 8th region? He is obviously a really good coach but sometimes whether it is just being unlucky or maybe it’s their nervousness in big moments that is reflected onto their players or inability to make late season adjustments. Who knows the reason but Simon has had some good teams over the years but just can’t win the big one. I agree that they have enough talent this year to get it done. I think they can beat anyone in the region on any given night. It will be fun to see if they can accomplish their goal!

In my humble opinion, the 8th region has the best coaches in the state. My list would be the exact same as everyone else’s . My order would be 1) Gaither - his basketball IQ is off the chart. 2) Levitch- let’s not forget he started coaching at a very young age almost zero coaching experience. He has had some brilliant assistants over the years. 3) Simpson - someone at his age that still runs modern offensives is really impressive. 4) Renner- he is in the basketball hall of fame and won a state title 5) Burns- gets the most out of the talent he has. 6) Steiner- has had some great teams over the years. He is very well respected across NKY and all of the 8th region

Musical Chairs is the theme for this year. The top 8 has been a huge game of musical chairs. They have changed seats weekly. They all are beating up on each other. February got here in a hurry and the season will be over soon with that said, we are a clear leader in the clubhouse. Coach Levitch has his boys from North Oldham are playing some great basketball . To go into South Oldham and get a double digit win is very impressive. Other teams are playing some great basketball but as of Feb 3, it’s North Oldham’s region to lose. Three and a half weeks until district tournaments tourneys begin in the region. I still think they are 8 teams that can cut down the nets at the Roy. The next month is going to be some fun basketball. 1. North Oldham (16-6) - the Mustangs are really good. They can defend , they can shoot, they can’t create shots for their teammates. They are currently the best team in the region . They dominated South Oldham on Friday on the road. It was impressive to watch. This Week- Owen County and North Hardin 2. Simon Kenton (15-6) - they have won 7 out of their last 8 and they totally dominated Walton Verona last week. Holding the Bearcats to 34 points. Simon Kenton has the experience to win it all. This week- Campbell County and Mason County 3. South Oldham (18-4) - they have been playing great ball. Everyone has a bad game and they had theirs Friday night. They lost to their county rivals. They could possibly use that lost as fuel to get ready for a strong postseason run. They could possibly play North two more times. This week- Evangel Christian and St Henry 4. Spencer County (14-8) - They are up and down but they have proven they can beat some good teams. Spencer plays really hard and will give any team problems on any given night. Can they go back to back. I believe it is possible. This week- Franklin County 5. Walton Verona (12-10) - going to keep Walton in the top 5 but I have my doubts they have enough to win it all in the regional tourney. They could possibly have the player of the year but they need more to advance past the first round of the region This week-Grant County and Cooper 6. Anderson County (11-8) - even though they have recently lost to Simon, Walton and Spencer I still have Anderson at the 6 spot mainly because of their wins vs Collins and Woodford. Those are 2 huge wins . Anderson is an interesting team . Better watch out for them on any given night. This week-Pendleton County and Oldham County 7. Collins (13-9) - the Titans dropped solely because of their loss to Oldham County and a couple of teams having big wins. Just like South Oldham they had a bad night, however they have proven they can beat anyone in the region. This week- St X and Madison Central 8. Woodford County (10-8)I think most people who follow the 8th region are perplexed by the Yellowjackets. On paper they are the overwhelming the best team in the region but lately on the court something is not clicking. They have lost games to 3 of the 4 district opponents in the past month. That is something no one predicted. It will be interesting to see if they can right the ship and get ready for the stretch run This week-South Laurel 9. Oldham county (8-13)- I am not a fan of mid season transfers but the kid OC picked up from North Oldham has instantly made them better. The win against Collins was the biggest win of their season so far because it was against a top 5 region opponent at the time. Do the Colonels have the weapons to upset somebody in the post season?. We shall see! This week- CEC, Anderson County and Henry Clay 10. Henry County (13-8)- the Wildcats are on a 4 game winning streak and in the drivers seat in district play. They continue to play some good basketball led by Mr Nolin who is averaging 26ppg. This week-Emience, Grant and Trimble 11. Gallatin County (13-9)- lost 3 out of their last 5 but the Warsaw boys are still good enough to win the region. I know they excited about the rematch with Henry County coming up in 8 days. This week: Trimble and Carroll County 12. Owen County (13-7) - they lost the rematch to Gallatin so that is why I dropped them a spot. However, it was a close game . Owen is the third best team in the district in my opinion but they are still good enough to cut the nets down at the Districts This week: Carroll County, North Oldham and Eminence 13. Grant County (10-10)- the Braves could easily be ranked ahead of Henry , Gallatin and Owen. They will have a chance to jump ahead of all of them if they beat Henry on Thursday. That is a huge region matchup for this team. This week: Walton-Verona, Henry County and Shelby County 14. Eminence (12-9)- this is a team that has exceeded expectations for this seasons in a lot of peoples eyes. They play hard and they play together. Will be excited to see if they can get a few more wins by the end of the season. This week: Henry County, Collegiate, Owen County 15. Carroll County (6-12)- I wanted to reward them and let them skip over Shelby based on their number of wins. Carroll will be thrilled to get a couple more wins by the end of the season. This week: Owen County, Gallatin County, Columbus Christian 16. Shelby County (1-19)- winning 1 game so far this year is something that no one expected. The Rockets are dying to get another win. This week: North Bullitt, Grant County, Lafayette 17. Williamstown (3-18) - the lack of talent just makes it hard to get wins. However, this group plays hard and will compete on a nightly basis. This week: Heritage Academy, Trimble County, 18. Trimble County (5-17)- no one wants to be in last place but Trimble has had a rough season. However, they are not going to give. They will fight to get a couple more wins. This week: Gallatin County, Williamstown, Henry County

The Mustangs made a statement tonight. They are the team to beat in the 8th region. They are very well coached . Tonight’s game was a great game to watch live. The atmosphere was electric. The Miles kid struggled and seemed frustrated at the officials and his teammates all night . Wasn’t a good look for the senior guard. These two teams might meet two more times . Who knows ?!?!

Wow, WOW WOW….. This region is heating up and getting fun. Some big district games last week and coming up this week. Some weird wins out of regions that make you go HUH?!?! And so much more. District 30 continues to be going NUTS… Spencer beat Anderson by one. Collins beat Woodford. What is going on? Woodford was picked to win the region by a lot of people and they have been ranked in the top 15 in the state most of the year. However, they already have 2 district losses. District 29 is just as interesting. Most would say its North vs South in the championship game but Oldham County beat Ballard last week. WHAT?!?!? Then a few days later North blows out Oldham. Up in the north part of the region, Simon Kenton is on a 13 game winning streak with a big wins over Collins, Gallatin and Anderson over the last 10 days. The Roy in Henry County will be rocking in 5 weeks but… WHO is going to make it? Going to be some good teams that don’t even make the region. Update Rankings 1. South Oldham- (17-3) No reason to drop them from the top spot. Last week they had 3 region wins by avg of 25 points. WOW. They have had Spencer County’s number by beating a really good team by double figures both times. The game of the week in the region will be Friday night when North Oldham comes to town. Number 1 vs Number 2. let's goooooooooooo. Going to be a great game with similar styles of play. I am going to go with the Dragons by 3 points. This week- at Grant on Monday and vs North on Friday 2. North Oldham- (14-6) Two blow out wins last week vs CAL and Oldham. The Oldham County game was impressive. The Colonels beat one of the hottest teams in the state on Tuesday then the Mustangs absolutely dominated the boys from OC a few nights later. North Oldham boys are very well coached. The game at Crestwood on Friday could be the game of the year. That gym will be packed. You better get there early if you want a seat. This week- at Spencer on Tuesday and at South Oldham on Friday 3. Simon Kenton- (14-5) They haven’t lost a game since Dec 21. They seem to be a team that is getting better weekly. I hope they don’t peak too early. All that matters is if you are playing well in the end of February. They are a fun team to watch. They can play a lot of different styles of defense and they have a lot of different kids that can score. Can Coach Steiner get his boys over the hump and get them to Lexington to play on the big stage? This Week- vs Ryle on Tuesday , vs Walton Verona on Friday and vs Anderson on Sat. 4. Collins – (12-7) The Titans make a big jump this week up to the fourth spot mainly because of their big win over Woodford. Collins has been the giant killer this year so far. They have beaten South Oldham and now Woodford, the best two teams going into the season in many peoples opinion including mine. Collins is well coached. They are a group of boys that play hard and do whatever they need to do to win. I really didn’t think they were good enough to win it all a few weeks ago but now I am a believer. This week: at Oldham County on Tuesday and vs Shelby County on Friday. 5. Walton Verona (12-7) Walton didn’t do anything wrong to drop a spot, I just thought Collins should be rewarded by their two big region wins last week. The Bearcats represented well in the All A Classic. Winning their first round game convincedly before losing to a very talented Danville Christian team. They have a big week ahead. I hope they can refocus and get ready to go. This week: vs Aiken on Tuesday and at Simon Kenton on Friday 6. Spencer County (13-7) The team from Taylorsville is still a team that can cut down the cuts in March. They had a huge road win at Anderson County last week by 1 point. As said before, District 30 is nuts and anyone can win it. Their tourney is going to be fun to watch. Unfortunately, two really good teams are not going to make it out of district. Spencer doesn’t want to be the team that goes home early. This week: at North on Tuesday , vs Gallatin on Saturday 7. Woodford County (10-7) What a really tough spot to put Woodford. Do I think the Yellowjackets are the 7th best team in the region?. NO! However, they have two district losses so its hard for me to put them any higher this week. They will slower get back to the top 4 in the region in the next week or so I have no doubt. They are a very talented team that sometimes just doesn’t execute down the stretch. Believe me no one in District 30 wants to play them in the semi finals of the district. This week: vs Anderson, vs Aiken 8. Anderson County (9-8) Coach Hyatt’s group has been so close in many games this year. A 1 point loss to Spencer and a 1 point loss to Walton Verona were two games they could have easily won if the ball would have bounced their way. However , the boys from Lawrenceburg are tough and they are not quitting. They have their eyes set on the Regional tourney and are working hard to make that a reality. This week: at Bullitt Central on Monday , vs Woodford County on Friday, at Simon Kenton on Saturday. 9. Oldham County (6-12) It might look weird bumping the Colonels up to the 8th spot with only 6 wins on the year and a blow out loss to the Mustangs of North Oldham but I decided to reward them after their big win at Ballard. The same Ballard team that only loss to St X by 1 point the week before. St X is most peoples pick to win State. So for the Colonels to go into Ballard and beat them was huge. It might have been fools gold because a few nights later they were beaten badly by their rivals from the north. But for at least 1 week I am letting them enjoy their success. This week : vs Collins on Tuesday, vs CAL on Thursday and Vs WEB DuBois on Sat. 10. Henry County (11-8) Also rewarding Henry and giving them a few spots up in the poll for their success as of late. They got a big win over Gallatin who has been ranked over them all success. The Wildcats have one of the best scorers in the region and the other boys are starting to fill their roles as well. They are dying to get to the region so they can play in their home gym. I think they are heading in the right direction to make that happen. This week: at Owen on Tuesday , vs Carroll County on Friday 11. Owen County (12-5) Giving Coach Duvall’s team the last spot in the top 10 because of their recent win over Gallatin. The boys played a heck of a game that night and I am keeping ahead of the Wildcats for at least one more week. They have 3 huge district games this week that will give us an idea if they are one of the top 2 teams in the district. Should be a fun week for the fans in Owen County. This week: vs Henry County, vs Trimble County , at Gallatin County 12. Gallatin County (11-8) The eye test tells me that they are a bit better than Owen but I just couldn’t put them in the top 10 after two straight losses and a loss to Owen in the ALL A. However, the Wildcats from Gallatin are not done yet. They are primed to make a late season run all the way to the regional tournament. They are my pick to win the District. We will see how it plays out. This week: at Eminence, vs Owen County , at Spencer County 13. Grant County (9-8) The Braves made an impressive showing vs Collins last week but came up short by 7 points. That was a double overtime thriller . The Bosse kid scored a game high 41 points (could be his career high).WOW!!!!! They are a tough team that neither Simon or Walton want on their side of the bracket come tourney time. This week: vs South, at Holy Cross, at Dixie Heights 14. Eminence (11-8) Eminence is a tough team but after the Owen County game it shows they are not ready to compete for a district. The 40 point loss was an eye opening score. However, the boys from one of the smallest schools in the state has won 11 games so far this year which is a huge accomplishment. Its going to be fun to see how many wins they can get to this season. This week: vs Gallatin, at Trimble County, at Eminence 15. Shelby County (1-16) Been a rough year for Shelby and they have a rough week ahead of them. They have a couple of wins in the coming weeks they are looking forward to getting. This week: vs DeSales, at Frankfort, at Collins, at Eminence 16. Carroll County (5-11) Last Monday was a big day for the boys. They got their 5th win of the season. They are looking to add a couple more wins to their record before the end of the season. This week:vs Trimble, at Henry County 17. Williamstown (3-15) Been a rough start to 2025 for the boys in the north part of the region. They are fighting every game to try to win a few more games This week: vs Model, at Calvary Chrisitian, vs Heritage Academy 18. Trimble County (5-13) Trimble enjoyed a big win last Monday night vs Frankfort Chr. They want to get a couple more wins before the season is over. This week: at Carroll County, at Owen County, vs Eminence, vs Shawe Memorial

I agree that no one in the 31st can win the region or I will go a step forward and say they will not get past the first game of the regional tourney. However, the district tourney could be really fun. There is going to be some good semi final games and the Championship game should be really good!

Yea I think that it would be cool to do a weekend tourney between the two regions at the end of January. 4 plays 1 3 play 2 Winners play for championship It would be really hard to pick the top four in the 8th region though but for Kicks and giggles I would set it up like this Cov Catholic (1) vs Simon Kenton (4) Cooper (2) vs North Oldham (3) Lloyd (3) vs Woodford (2) Beechwood (4) vs South Oldham (1) Second Round Cov vs Woodford North vs South Championship Game South vs Woodford I am an 8th region guy so I am 100% bias lol

Just heard this score from a friend of mine. Oldham beats Ballard who almost beat Saint X a few days ago. Coach Renner's return was a sweet one for him.

WOW.. A signature win for Simon Kenton to let everyone in the 8th region know they are still one of the top teams to beat come tourney time.
