Only Divisional Games Count toward the standings and who plays on Championship Saturday. Inter-divisional games count for the overall League Record, but only divisional records count toward the Championship Saturday.
We have one more Divisional Game that will decide who plays on Saturday, October 25. Franklin County and Lexington Catholic play on the 13th. If Franklin County wins, then the standings would be as follows.
Woodford 1st
Franklin County 2nd
Tates Creek 3rd
If Lexington Catholic Wins, we would have a three way tie for 2nd. Catholic, Tates Creek and Franklin County would all have 3-2 Records. Here is the way we would solve the tiebreaker:
Point Differential in Head-to-Head Games
Calculate points scored minus points allowed only in the games among the tied teams.
Example:
Team A beat B 21–14 (+7) and lost to C 14–10 (–4) → +3
Team B lost to A (–7) and beat C 17–10 (+7) → 0
Team C beat A (+4) and lost to B (–7) → –3
Ranking: A (+3), B (0), C (–3)
