That still shouldn't equal to a 3rd round matchup.

I guess I'm confused on the whole RPI playoff deal. How would Mayfield play LCA in the 3rd round being the #2 and LCA the #4? Does it not go back to a traditional style bracket with the RPI rankings? IE...The #1 seed plays the lowest seed still in it the the #2 seed plays the next to lowest seed still available and so on? In my mind the top 4 seeds shouldn't see each other until the semis if they all win.

I'm predicting a 31-14 Mayfield win. Both teams are talented, only one is disciplined with good coaching. That always makes the difference when talent is close. Mayfield defense is tough.
