If you are in the area surrounding Park Hills I highly suggest for you to attend this game. Covington Catholic has not lost a game since August and are looking strong as ever if they can get the pass game going this is going to be a classic. Johnson Central is going to have a certain mentality coming into this game considering last year's blowout. JC's run defense is very strong and Covington Catholic will have to look for the pass. Grant County (6-4) heads to Johnson Central (7-3) for the 1st round of the Class 4A 2024 UK HealthCare Sports Medicine State Football Finals. Johnson Central is coming off a bye week after a tough loss from Ashland in the final minute of the game. Grant County coming off a loss to Marion County 33-0. JC pass defense will be the tale of their playoff run this year with the run offense doing all they can to win games the pass defense just has not been there for the Eagles this season from losing to Ashland to battling it out with Corbin and both games being on the pass defense. Grant County looks like they are heavy with the run game also JC has been very effective at stopping the run and if Grant County cannot find anything in the air it is going to be a tuff game for them.
