I will attest to the great job these guys do with their live feeds. I’ve watched several and they are always top notch. I know where I’ll be tuned in on Friday.

Wow!!  That will put some pep in my step this week!  Love reading this.  Much appreciated Deuce!!

We have two goals we strive to achieve on  (859) Sports Radio

  2. We are so excited for this game as it will be the biggest football game to ever be broadcasted on (859) Sports Radio!!  Watch it live for FREE on 859SportsRadio.com.   I know you have to pick a system and go with it and the system of using the RPI to reseed is as good as any...if you trust RPI's.  The Trinity team that accumulated an RPI of .47195 and 19th place in 6A and 13 spots behind Ryle is not going to be the Trinity team that rolls into Union.  Dynasties like Trinity don't take too kindly to having to travel in week 3.  They are coming in with a lot to prove to everyone and 116-0 post season scoring tallies.  Don't get me wrong, Ryle is really good and going to be better than most think in this and will come to play with a QB that has thrown for 400 more yards than Brady Willis for the Rocks.  With Harden, Yowan, Savage and Colemire running the ball for Ryle, they can do this.  They have to believe it too and not let that big green T on those helmets mess with their heads.  Win or lose this is a historical game for NKY 6A to host and we are honored to be there.  We will be more prepared for blizzardy, haily, windy, rainy and hurricaney conditions.

Excellent win for Ryle. They looked sharp and well prepared without a punt all night. The Raiders dominated the Red Colonels in a game I thought would go down to the last possession. Ryle has a huge break in hosting the winner from the Lexington district that is down this year.

In a big change from the expected, Ryle will be hosting the Trinity Shamrocks.  I've read that they have had some success lately in the state of KY. lol

Of course I believe you and thanks on the video.  It looked good before the game started.  It could be my computer/monitor settings but none of the other broadcasts looked overly bright.

Well there are many times I don't look overly bright either.  But I have found the settings and also have a new video capture feed from my camera so this will all be fixed.

    Thanks for the update.

And I figured it was Meridix and not you because I had trouble reloading their site.  At least the best I could tell it was their site.

Also, I thought your video was a little over exposed, just FYI.

I will look at that setting. Hard to tell until we have a game. Meridix confirmed they had issues. Hate technology. Ha

  6. Big 5A game with huge district implications.  Cooper has a 7 point loss to Ryle and a 4OT loss to CovCath.  Highlands seems to have their QB decision made and are getting healthier week by week.   HHS held CCH to 8 points and snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory.  Cooper has more confidence in this game than maybe any in their brief history of this rivalry.  Highlands wants to regain the confidence they had with wins over Bowling Green, Simon Kenton and Campbell Co early in the season and only have a win over Boone County since.  On paper this looks like a Cooper win with that dominant defense they have surrendering only 12 point a game.  But....there's something that just tells me this one is going to be a really close game and comes down to the wire.  The exciting news is that this game can be seen on (859) Sports Radio!!!  Click here.

They do a great job, and Homer never seems to show up in the booth with them!

I really appreciate that @StraightShooter!!  We are an independent and being a native from the (859), certainly want our teams to do well.   As you said, that should never enter the booth and we pride ourselves on that efforts.  We only root for great games and healthy players.  We try to prepare for both teams the same.  Can't wait broadcast this game.  Always exciting when the Tigers come to the (859)!!

I expect a hotly contested game that goes down to the wire.  Noon is an agile and versatile QB that is always a definite X-factor for the Birds.  Easier said than done to contain him by land and his receivers by air.  Yowan and Savage mixed in at running back provide some powerful threats on the ground for Ryle.  I hope for an injury-free, well-played contest between two good teams

Couldn't agree more with StraightShooter.  This is setting up to be a last possession kind of a game.  Both teams are a hair away from being 4-0 and both QB's are having close to identical years under center, with Charlie Noon a big advantage with his legs leading HHS in rushing.  This game can be watched on (859) Sports Radio.  We may be in the library, which will certainly provide some challenges, but we will do our best to bring you as much as we can with the video.  Click here.

  9. Not the best angle but sure looked like Smith pushed her first.  I was not as sure as Jason Elfers was but he's younger, smarter and taller.  I thought more than a second ticked off from the tip of the missed free throw until the foul.  There was about 2 seconds when the free throw was let go.  For the refs to guess and give NDA a second back was a total gift.  Almost gave them the win the the wide open look Bradshaw ended up with that hit the rim.  I thought McKnight left off the all tournament team was an oversight hitting 6 threes saturday for 22 and 16 over her average.  Girl put on a show.
