Paige Portman named new head coach softball at Tates Creek HS. Great Choice! She was assistant at Tates Creek for a few years, but stepped down last season to be assistant AD.

Where is the All "A" held this year? And where is the 2A held? Thanks, that was news to me.

I don't think there is a 2A in basketball. There is only All "A" and Sweet 16.

I say Lexington Christian in the 11th. But Frankfort a close second. Frankfort might be under the radar in the 11th overall.

I am sure Danville will be the favorite in the 12th. Not sure what Somerset has but Burgin got a great new coach. So expect Burgin to be on the rise.

I's say fairly reliable. I know Champ is not coaching in Louisville and is a graduate of Lexington Catholic. But you right. Wait and see.

Wondering what the hold up is on Lexington Catholic hiring a new girls basketball coach. Most teams are already having open gyms and conditioning.

The new Tates Creek Softball Coach will be named today at 3pm.

Interviews started yesterday. Not sure who applied or got interviewed.

Douglass is huge but Tates Creek got some game changing studs too. Marcus Bosley will have to be a game changer in defense. It will take some turnovers by Douglass early to get Creek off to a good start. If this one doesn't get out of hand early, Creek could get some confidence going and be a problem. Douglass 32-21.

It needs to be an experienced high school coach. The team is very talented and young. They went 30-8 last season and only loss to seniors.
