In a game a couple weeks ago, there was a jump ball and possession went to opposing team. On the inbounds play, they were called for 5 seconds and ball given back to us. Referee says possession arrow stays in their favor because they "failed to complete the possession." Very good referee so I'm confident he was correct but never heard of this before. Anyone know this rule?
